Sunday Morning Son...
One very controversial Topic in many religions is the understanding that there is a trinity. yes, a triune God. One God made up of three separate and distinct persons.
God the Father...
God the Son...
God the Holy Spirit...
Starting this week, I'd like to use Sunday as the day to Highlight God the son.
There are so many scriptures that undeniably confirm not only the trinity but also the existence of the person... God the son.
As we are entering into the Holiday Season, I thought it fitting to Look at a very well-known scripture...
Isaiah 9:6-7
6. For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us.
And the government will rest on His shoulders.
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
It starts out with... For a Child will be born to us.
God told satan back in the garden that through a woman, a child would be born that would crush his head.
Then Isaiah says... a Son would be given.
The son Isaiah was referring to would be the actual son of God, given to mankind and that his coming would be to re-establish Gods government back on earth.
Hence... And The government will rest Apon his shoulders.
The son of God did not come to start a New World Religion. No, he came to take back what belonged to him and that was rulership over this home we call earth.
verse 7 explains exactly what his mission was...
1. Establish a government that would...this time never end.
2. It would be established on the throne of David... The child that was born would come through the linage of King David as prophesied.
3. Unlike our government and those around the world. The government the Son would establish would be one that would uphold Justice and Righteousness.
4. This Government will never end.
Could that be why Jesus Proclaimed everywhere...
Repent "change your mind"
For the Kingdom of God Is Here... Or may we Say... Is BACK.

Well, its Focus on Faith Friday
I would say the subject of Faith is hands down the most important element in our walk with God.
Hebrews 11:6
For without Faith, it is imposable to please God.
To be honest I struggled with this scripture for decades.
Do I have Faith?
Am I pleasing God?
Am I pleasing to God?
All I really needed to do was continue reading and I'd of had my answer from the beginning.
It was right there in front of my eyes the whole time.
For it says:
For anyone who wants to come to him, " God ", must believe that God exists.
I've always believed that.
And that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
I've always believed that as well.
Come to find out, I had had faith from my youth and didn't even know it.
Now does God expect our faith to grow??? Of course,
But it all starts with what the bible calls " Child Like Faith "
So be encouraged...
Pleasing God is not all that difficult. Even a child can do it.

Thursday Morning Theology...
Theology is the study of Religion, God and the Human experience of Faith.
Tho I do not consider myself a theologian, I do fill my time seeking knowledge and understanding of the life, and Kingdom practices of the first century believers.
In my research, I have found that the Lord's supper of old was nothing like the taking of communion.
The Lord's supper was actually that... a complete meal wrapped around celebrating the sacrifice made for our redemption through the broken body and shed blood of Christ.
That is easily proven by Paul's rebuke of the Corinthian church found in 1 Corinthians 11.
The Lords supper of old was actually referred to as the Love Feast.
So last night in our Wednesday Ecclesia in my home, we, for the first time I may add. Celebrated the Lord's supper the biblical way. Before our usual meal we took the Bread as Jesus did and broke it in remembrance of his broken body.
At the end of the Meal, we lifted the cup in remembrance of his shed blood and the new covenant that came into being by that blood.
We sang a few songs and opened up for prayer. While praying for a couple for traveling mercies on an upcoming trip they are going on, the atmosphere began to shift in our living room.
Gifts of the spirit began to manifest, and words of knowledge began to come forth that resulted in Blessing and encouraging this precious couple.
My daughter stepped forward for prayer for a problem with her finger which resulted in God sending her to the floor and through words of knowledge began to deliver her from generational curses and traumas from her past.
AS I watched her lay there, body shaking and tears flowing down her cheeks. I could only marvel at what Holy Spirit was doing in this young woman's life.
A precious woman that has just began to attend our gathering, who we know very little about...through words of knowledge. Physical issues were revealed and prayed over as well as confirmation concerning a word spoken to her 30 years ago.
I find it no coincidence that observing biblical pattern produces biblical results.
I pray this testimony blesses you this Theology Thursday.

Tuesday Morning Testimony...
I encourage everyone to take a moment on Tuesdays and post a testimony of something God Is doing, or has done in your life.
Non believers need to hear of the goodness of our God.

I've chosen to post a testimony of a good friend of mine's daughter.
What a powerful thing God is doing in her life...

Prioritizing what’s pleasing to God. I am making a public announcement that I don’t drink alcohol anymore! Previously when I’ve told those in my circle that I quit drinking, they always need an explanation. This would lead me to feeling odd, and so I would keep drinking to “fit in”
It’s wild that alcohol is the only drug that we have to explain why we don’t partake.

Here is my explanation: psalms 37:5 “Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
Joshua 24:15 “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

My hope and my dreams are in Jesus and I will fight the rest of my life trying to do what is honoring to Him. Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”

Kingdom 101...
The word Gospel Simply means good news.
The word Preach Simply means to proclaim something.
Religion teaches that the GOSPEL offends. That it confronts and it convicts.
Well...Good news does nothing of the sort.
Where you ever offended when told the good news of a child being born or how about the good news that you got a raise on your job.
No good news is good news, and we all need more of it.
Now concerning the good news, the body of Christ is to proclaim, well let's start out with this. There can only be one good news.
I seen a preacher post the other day that the TRUE good news was this... That Jesus died, was buried and rose from the dead for our sins.
Tho that is good news, is it THE good news the saints are to proclaim to those they are attempting to draw into the kingdom of God?
May we consider this...
John the Baptist Proclaimed the good news, did he not?
May I say that he did... His message was THE good news, and it was not the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
Next came Jesus... Now surly we contend that He proclaimed the good news. He went everywhere proclaiming the good news.
Can we dare say that his good news was not his death, burial and resurrection?
Jesus, In his discipleship program decided to send out his twelve disciples to... Proclaim the good news did he not. He told them not to take money or even a change of clothes, and he told them exactly what to say in each town he was sending them. Surely his instructions would reveal what THE good news would be right.
Once again, the good news was not his death, burial and resurrection.
How about when he sent out the seventy to do the exact same thing as the twelve... What was his instructions to them as to the message to be proclaimed. What was THE good news?
Directly after Jesus rose from the dead, he spent 40 days with his disciples... His last few days with them before he was to be taken to heaven to sit an intercede for us saints until his return. These would be his final instructions to those he intended to turn the world upside down with His GOOD NEWS.
And what was the topic of discussion???
His Kingdom.
John Proclaimed the Kingdom was nearby.
Jesus Proclaimed the Kingdom is here.
The disciples were instructed to Proclaim the kingdom.
Jesus last encounters with his disciples before his ascension was teaching them about his KINGDOM.
Is the death, burial and resurrection of Christ good news? Absolutely.
We cannot enter into his Kingdom without it.
But may I contend that the GOOD NEWS is Gods Kingdom that was lost in the garden because of the rebellion of Adam has once again been established here on the earth.
Man kind can now become qualified because of the death, burial and resurrection, to Perform the duties they were created for in the first place.
Genesis 1:26
Rule an establish Gods kingdom over the whole earth.
Religion prepares you to fly away in a rapture to escape this earth.
Gods' kingdom wants to keep you here to make this earth just like heaven.
Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will be done.
