Revelation 1:7 (ESV) Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail[b] on account of him. Even so. Amen.

The first time, almost nobody noticed. The next time, nobody will miss it. 👀

Bethlehem was a private event. A stable, a handful of shepherds, an animal trough, and a town that slept through it. John says the next arrival runs the other direction entirely. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him" (Revelation 1:7). Every eye. Not a rumor that spreads. Not a report anyone has to verify. Not something you find out about from a headline. 🌅

Which is why nobody will need convincing when it happens. The problem was never the evidence. The problem is what a person does with Him beforehand.

If it were not a doctrine but a Person standing in front of you tonight, what would you say first?

John wrote that line as a prisoner on Patmos, exiled by an empire he ended up outliving.

No one has ever watched molecules turn into microbes, microbes into fish, fish into reptiles, reptiles into mammals, and mammals into people.

But every single day we observe breathtaking engineering in living things. The intricate information in DNA, molecular machines inside cells, and finely tuned biological systems all point us toward design.

The real question isn't whether we interpret the evidence. It's which interpretation best explains what we see.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead..."

His last word on the cross was not a groan. It was an accounting term. ✝️

The word John records in chapter 19 is tetelestai. Archaeologists have found it written across ancient receipts and tax documents, marking a debt that had been settled in full with nothing left owing. Jesus did not gasp it out. John says He cried with a loud voice, and then gave up His spirit on His own terms. The bill was not reduced. It was not deferred. It was closed. 🕯️

Which means the most exhausting religion on earth is the one that keeps making payments on a settled account. If He said finished, then adding to it is not devotion. It is doubt about the receipt. He did not ask you to bring a down payment. He asked you to bring yourself.

Would you rather spend your life paying a debt that is already settled, or thanking the One who settled it?

The Romans used that same word for a servant returning to his master with the report that the assigned work was completed.

Blue eyes are often admired for their striking appearance, but they also offer a powerful testimony to God’s intentional design and the incredible diversity He built into humanity from the beginning. While secular scientists often argue that blue eyes arose from a random genetic mutation thousands of years ago, the biblical creationist view sees them as a variation that was already potential within the human genome, designed by God at creation.

According to Genesis, all humans descend from Adam and Eve, who were created with the genetic capacity to produce a wide range of traits in their descendants including eye color. Blue eyes are caused by a decrease in melanin in the iris, which scatters light and produces the blue hue. This reduction in melanin does not create something new. It simply limits how much pigment is expressed. From a genetic standpoint, this is a loss of information, not a gain. Evolution depends on upward changes that add new genetic information, but blue eyes demonstrate the opposite, the reshuffling and limiting of already existing traits.

Far from being a product of blind chance, the existence of blue eyes reflects the handiwork of a Creator who built adaptability and variety into the human genome from the start. After the Tower of Babel, when God scattered the people across the earth, certain traits like blue eyes may have become more concentrated in isolated populations. Rather than pointing to random evolution, this shows how God’s design allows humans to adapt to different environments while still bearing His image.

In the end, blue eyes are not an evolutionary accident, but a testament to the intelligent design and creativity of our Creator, who made “every nation of men” (Acts 17:26) and knit each person together in the womb with unique and wonderful features (Psalm 139:13-14).

2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

TWO SCIENTISTS. TWO WORLDVIEWS.

Dawkins looks at life and says design is an illusion, not because the evidence demands it, but because his worldview requires it, and he puts his trust in Darwin. God is excluded first, so no matter how engineered life appears, it must be explained away. Heisenberg followed science deeper and recognized God as the authority behind knowledge itself, the reason scientific laws exist, the reason order and intelligibility are possible at all. One places man as the final authority and filters all evidence through that assumption. The other grounds science in a rational Creator. In the end, this is not a debate about data. It is about presuppositions. What you assume first determines everything that follows. As Christians, we don't need to assume. The Bible and God's creation have made it perfectly clear and undeniable.
