Our Final Night at VBS did not disappoint. We learned about the Widow’s Oil and God’s abundant provision. The children created “messages in a bottle” filled with love, hope, joy, kindness, and faith. We enjoyed yummy pizza, played fun and exciting games, and had storytime outside in our community garden. We ended the night with music filling the Sanctuary. It was a wonderful, faith‑filled week for our children.

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY at our 10am VBS Worship Service to hear our VBS children sing songs they learned this week!!

We are so thankful for the incredible volunteers at FUMC. Because of you, VBS ran smoothly. This year’s garden‑themed VBS tied beautifully into our community garden, and it took planning, creativity, and so much heart to bring it all to life. Each night had its own theme as the children explored stories from Scripture, and every detail reflected the love you poured into this ministry.

Thank you to:

- Callie Murrey, Donna Bain, and Teresa Chiles for preparing meals with such care.
- Elizabeth Sneed, Linda Mooney, and Stephanie Garner for helping with registration and sign‑out.
- Amy Wilson and Sarah Garner for leading arts and crafts with creativity and patience.
- Paulette Bledsoe and Annabella Moore for bringing storytime to life.
- Kevin Garner and Rex Hobbs for keeping games and activities full of energy.
- Daniel Roberts, Alicia Gordon, and Jody Pigg for filling our space with music and joy.
- Jenny Hobbs, Judy Shay, Linda Mooney, Caron Perkins, Stephanie Garner, Mike Luke, Thaliyah Smith, Josh Nkulu, Jeremy Nkulu, and Sophia McMasters for leading, helping, and guiding our children with such care and faithfulness.
- Jordan Frizzell, Todd Hibdon, Pastor Zach Moffatt, and all listed above for helping with decorations.
- Carter Hibdon for designing our vegetable characters and the farmer’s market stand in the Sanctuary.
- Kayce Watson Scoggins for letting us borrow some fabulous props.
- Madison Mitchell for creating the “Just Like Me” sign for one of our backdrops.
- Shana Hibdon for organizing and reshaping the curriculum.
- The Growing Tree Nursery School for letting us borrow the balloon arch that added so much joy and color to our space.
- And to each of you who prayed for VBS.

Our children had a wonderful week because of you. You are essential to our children’s ministry. It truly takes a village… and what a beautiful village God has blessed us with.

Night 3 of FUMC’s “Just Like Me” VBS was a blast! The kids packed the evening with laughter, crafts, games, storytime, music, and a delicious meal.

Our theme was “I Have Something to Share”, diving into John 6:1–15 and the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5,000.

Tomorrow we’re back with “I Need My People”, learning from 2 Kings 4:1–7 and the story of the Widow’s Oil.

Come be part of the fun — 5–7pm!

We also have an Adult VBS that starts at 5:30pm at The Table! Come join us!
