Wednesday Encouragement

No matter what this week has brought, God is faithful.

When the path ahead seems unclear, walk by faith, not by sight. Trust Him with every detail, draw near to Him, and rest in His peace. His strength is sufficient for today, and His plans are greater than our own.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Take a moment today to pause, pray, and place your worries in His hands. He is with you every step of the way.

Have a blessed Wednesday!

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1

In a world that can feel uncertain and overwhelming, Jesus offers a steady promise: we are not alone, and there is a place prepared for us. He reminds us that He is the way, the truth, and the life—an anchor for our hearts and a light for our path. Whatever you’re carrying this week, you don’t have to carry it by yourself.

Join us this Sunday (5/3/26) as we gather in worship, encouragement, and hope. Come just as you are and be reminded of God’s faithfulness and peace. Online or in person @ 10am.

Encouragement doesn’t mean the road will always be easy—it means we don’t have to face it alone. God knows the fears we carry and the uncertainties ahead, and He meets us with His constant presence. When strength feels low and courage feels far away, His promise remains the same: He is with us wherever we go. Today, take a deep breath, lean into His faithfulness, and move forward knowing He walks beside you.

Wherever this week has taken you, Jesus invites you to rest.

Give thanks not just for the blessings that shine bright, but also for the quiet mercies that often go unseen.

The Ecumenical Church of Pueblo West’s Food Pantry is the latest recipient of Pueblo West Women Who Care’s quarterly donation. This quarter, our members raised $1,300 just before our nation passed funds to cover the rest of November’s SNAP benefits. If you’re experiencing food insecurity, be sure to visit their pantry off Spaulding and S. Conquistador on Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. and on Thursday’s from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. The boxes of food include meat, bread and eggs. Bring your picture i.d. They can run out of food, and often have to close the drive-thru food distribution before they expect to. You can receive a box of food once per month per household. Contributions from community members are much appreciated. Click on the “donate now” button on their website at https://www.ecopw.org/

Please consider donating to the Ecumenical Church Food Pantry. Last night at our Tuesday pantry that ran from 5-7 pm, we served 84 households! 28 of those had never been to the pantry before. A typical Tuesday night for us would normally run about 35-40. The need is real right now. We will be open again on Thursday from 11-1 and I am hoping that we don’t run out of food during that shift.

If there are other businesses, churches or organizations that want to hold food drives for us similar to what the Pueblo West Women’s League did on the 1st and what I ❤️Mac and Cheese is doing, that would be amazing! We are a 501c3 and donations are tax deductible. Anything and everything helps at this point as we try to maintain the standards of our distributions. We are the only Food Pantry here in Pueblo West, so please consider your donations to us.

For those seeking help with food, we allow a once a month visit and are open on Tuesdays from 5-7 pm and on Thursdays from 11 am- 1pm. In addition to that once a month visit, we also have the 3rd Friday Food Distribution on the 3rd Friday of every month that begins at 3pm. This month will be on Friday, November 21st.

Please know that wait times may be longer right now with more families seeking help, especially new families. We are doing our very best to keep up with the demand and keep things running smoothly. Please be patient and kind with the volunteers as they are all working so hard right now! God Bless
