Happy Sons and Daughters Day!

Today we celebrate the gift of sons and daughters—the children who bring laughter, love, challenges, joy, and countless blessings into our lives.

Scripture reminds us that “Children are a gift from the Lord. The children born to us are our special reward.” (Psalm 127:3). Each child is uniquely created, deeply loved, and wonderfully made by God.

Today, take a moment to thank God for the sons and daughters who have touched your life. Whether they are young or grown, near or far, may we continue to surround them with love, prayer, encouragement, and grace.

And for those whose children are no longer with us, whose relationships are complicated, or whose hearts carry an empty place today—may God meet you with comfort and peace.

Let us pray for our sons and daughters:
Lord, guide their steps, protect their hearts, strengthen their faith, and remind them every day that they are loved—not only by us, but by You. May they grow in wisdom, compassion, courage, and faith. Amen.

Happy Sons and Daughters Day!
May God bless our children today and always.

A New Week, A New Perspective

As we begin a new week, let’s take a moment to reflect on the powerful story of Joseph in Genesis 45:1–15.

Joseph had every reason to hold onto anger and hurt. His brothers had betrayed him, separated him from his family, and changed the course of his life. Yet when the moment came, Joseph chose a different path—one of forgiveness, reconciliation, and grace.

Sometimes we look back at the difficult chapters of our lives and wonder, “Why did this happen?” Joseph reminds us that even when we cannot see the whole picture, God may still be working in ways we cannot yet understand.

As you begin this week, ask yourself:
Is there something I need to release?
Is there someone I need to forgive?
Could God be working through a situation I once thought was only painful?

May we enter this week with open hearts, willing to see our circumstances through God’s eyes and trusting that He is still at work.

“God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.” — Genesis 45:7

Have a blessed week!
And we hope you’ll join us Sunday at 10:00 AM, in person or online, as we explore this powerful story together.

Come as you are. All are welcome.

In times of uncertainty, we are reminded that we don't have to walk through them alone.

Life often brings moments that leave us searching for hope, peace, and strength. Whatever you may be facing today, know that God is present, and you are always welcome to come into His presence.

This Sunday, July 5th at 10:00 AM, the Ecumenical Church of Pueblo West wants to invite everyone—whether you have a church home, haven't been to church in years, or belong to any Christian faith tradition—to join us as we gather in worship, prayer, and the comforting presence of the Lord.

Together, we will seek God's peace, strength, hope, and refuge. Scripture reminds us:

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1

Whether you worship with us in person or online, our doors and hearts are open. Come as you are. Bring your family, invite a friend, and let us stand together as one community, lifting one another up and placing our trust in God.

No matter where you are on your journey, there is a place for you here. We look forward to worshiping with you and experiencing the hope and peace that are found in Christ.

Wednesday Encouragement

No matter what this week has brought, God is faithful.

When the path ahead seems unclear, walk by faith, not by sight. Trust Him with every detail, draw near to Him, and rest in His peace. His strength is sufficient for today, and His plans are greater than our own.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Take a moment today to pause, pray, and place your worries in His hands. He is with you every step of the way.

Have a blessed Wednesday!

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1

In a world that can feel uncertain and overwhelming, Jesus offers a steady promise: we are not alone, and there is a place prepared for us. He reminds us that He is the way, the truth, and the life—an anchor for our hearts and a light for our path. Whatever you’re carrying this week, you don’t have to carry it by yourself.

Join us this Sunday (5/3/26) as we gather in worship, encouragement, and hope. Come just as you are and be reminded of God’s faithfulness and peace. Online or in person @ 10am.
