And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20). We also share in Christ's purpose: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Luke 4:18-19). May we continue to hold fast to the great commandments: "To love God with all our heart, soul, mind and love neighbor as self" (Matthew 22:37-39).
