Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who love, nurture, guide, pray for, and pour into the lives of others. Today, we honor not only mothers, but also grandmothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, spiritual mothers, mentors, caregivers, and every woman who reflects the love of Christ through the way she cares for others.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

Today can hold many different emotions. We celebrate with those who are rejoicing, and we also hold close in prayer:
• those longing to become mothers
• those who have lost children
• those missing their own mothers today
• those carrying silent heartaches
• and those who nurture others without ever hearing the word “mom”

Throughout Scripture, God used faithful women in powerful ways — women like Mary, Ruth, Hannah, and Esther whose faith, love, and obedience helped shape generations.

May every woman today be reminded that her love matters, her prayers matter, and her life has purpose in the Kingdom of God.

Join us at Providence General Baptist Church as we reflect on the greatest sacrifice and celebrate the greatest victory.

Good Friday reminds us of the depth of God’s love—when Jesus gave His life on the cross for our sins. It is a time of reverence, gratitude, and reflection on the price that was paid for our salvation.

Easter Sunday is the celebration of hope fulfilled—He is not here, for He has risen! Through the resurrection, we are given new life, new hope, and the promise of eternity.

We invite you and your family to come worship with us as we remember the cross and rejoice in the empty tomb.

Come experience the power of His love, the truth of His Word, and the joy of His resurrection.

Reminder: Join us this Friday for our Good Friday service at 6:00 PM.

Following the service, we will have a finger food potluck and a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt for the kids, rain or shine!

The church will be providing cookies, drinks, and fruit. Please bring a finger food dish to share.

We hope to see you there!

Join us for our Good Friday Service at 6:00 PM as we gather to remember the sacrifice of Christ.

Following this meaningful time of worship, we will spend time together in fellowship and enjoy a Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt.

We’ve ordered 2,000 glow-in-the-dark eggs, and we need everyone’s help to fill them!

Once the eggs arrive, they will be available for pickup to be filled at home.
Please return all filled eggs to the church by April 1.

The church will provide cookies, fruit, and drinks.
We ask that everyone please bring a finger food to share.

We look forward to worshiping together and spending time in fellowship as a church family.
