"This past Sunday, I stood amazed at what God continues to do at Gospel Light.
As I looked around the service, I saw babies everywhere—babies who are part of young families God is building here. I saw older members embracing and loving on younger families. I saw people stepping in to help a member in a wheelchair so her husband could park the car. I saw people serving, caring, worshiping, and loving one another.
Over the past few months, we have seen many people join our church. Just yesterday, someone was saved! Recently, we have seen others come to Christ, many baptized, and people faithfully returning week after week.
Our time of worship has been genuine, pure, and directed toward the One who alone is worthy!
It makes a difference when a church has a spirit of unity instead of a spirit of division. It makes a difference when hearts are prepared to receive what the Lord has for them. It makes a difference when we choose not to be critical, constantly looking for faults and reasons to be unhappy.
Listen—find your place. Worship. Serve. Grow.
Don’t hinder what the Holy Spirit wants to do in a church because you have become critical, offended, or unhappy.
People are dying and going to Hell. We don’t have time for pettiness, personal agendas, or division. There is a world that needs the Gospel, and there is a church that needs to be faithful to the mission God has given us.
Let’s keep our eyes on Christ, our hearts right before Him, and our hands busy serving Him.
We are looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Let’s stay united. Let’s stay faithful. Let’s stay focused.
Jesus is coming!
