🍞 Reminder: Calling all Bread Bakers!

Do you have a favorite bread recipe? We'd love to share it!

As part of our Corpus Christi celebration this Sunday, we're inviting parishioners to bring homemade sweet or savory breads to help create a festive coffee hour spread celebrating Christ, the Bread of Life.

🥖 Drop off your loaf in the kitchen before the 10:00 a.m. service on June 7.
⚠️ Please label any potential allergens.

Whether it's sourdough, banana bread, focaccia, zucchini bread, biscuits, or a family favorite, your contribution will help make this celebration special.

✨ Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi ✨

Each year, Christians around the world observe Corpus Christi—a day of thanksgiving for the gift of the Holy Eucharist. This joyful feast invites us to reflect on Christ's presence among us in the sacrament of Holy Communion and to give thanks for the grace we receive through his Body and Blood.

This year at St. Francis in the Fields, we will mark the occasion with a special celebration of Holy Communion during our 10:00 a.m. service, followed by a festive coffee hour. We will also recognize the children who have completed our children's communion formation program as they take this important step in their faith journey.

Join us THIS Sunday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. as we gather in gratitude, celebration, and fellowship.

🧱 Our Brick Restoration Project project is fully underway!

Over the coming months, all brick and concrete along the perimeter of the church is being carefully replaced as part of a significant investment in the long-term stewardship of our historic campus.

As work progresses, there will be periodic disruptions and some areas may be temporarily inaccessible. For your safety, please observe all posted signs and barriers and use caution when moving around campus.

We are deeply grateful for your patience and understanding throughout this project—and especially thankful for the extraordinary generosity of a parishioner whose sacrificial gift has made this restoration possible.

We look forward to celebrating the completion of this important renovation with our parish family!

📣📣📣HAVE YOU SIGNED UP FOR VBS YET?📣📣📣

Join us this June for "Journey with Jesus," our 2026 Vacation Bible School! This week we’ll embark on an epic adventure of faith, with Jesus and his Church as our guide. VBS is for ages Pre-K to 5th Grade. Pack your bag, get out your map, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!

There is a suggested donation of $25 per child, $75 max per family. All are welcome at VBS--if cost is prohibitive, please check the "fee waiver" box when you register.

🀄Please come join us for Mahjong and fellowship! Men, women, beginners, and experienced players are all welcome to our FINAL MAHJONG MONDAY of the program year next Monday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m. 🀄

We will have multiple tables set up for open play and a teacher on hand to help those still getting familiar with the game. Please bring your (new!) 2026 NMJL card (spare cards will be available). Additionally, please bring a set of tiles if you have them.
