When we tell you that Saint Elizabeth Primitive Baptist Church 1st Youth Ministry Lock-In on today August 22. 2026 was one to go down in history, We mean that. With an Awesome Pastor, Gifted Staff, Beautiful Volunteers and all our wonderful babies made it happen. From food and more food and more, to prayer, laughter, games, dancing. Popcorn, movie, discussions panel on Bullying lead by Sister Beverly Burruss and Peer pressure lead by Sister Tidal Gardner. Story telling with our Tiny-Tots, Noah's Ark, and Story of main character as a puppet (Rainbow Mrs Lucy) Making arts and crafts, Balloons, bubbles to Rainbow Necklaces reminding us of a Promise of God. The upper classes, games and individual personal design T-shirts. So so much talent. Thank you Father God for all you have done and gonna do for Saint Elizabeth

God is about to do some great things for Saint Elizabeth Primitive Baptist Church Psalm 126:3: "The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad."Isaiah 43:19: "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth."Luke 1:37: "For nothing will be impossible with God."Ephesians 3:20: He is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think.

From the Pastor’s desk
UNTIL WE GET IT RIGHT

Proverbs 11:24 Says,
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer;
another withholds what he should give, and
only suffers want.

God does not need our money or our possessions because He already owns everything.

Instead, God asks us to give generously
to help us grow spiritually and to fight greed and to help us to remember that He provides for us, and
also to let us express our love and thankfulness to Him.

Spiritual Reasons for Giving
Generous Giving loosens the grip that greed and
material things have on our hearts.

Giving an offering reminds us that God is
who we trust as our true provider,
not our own jobs or our savings.

Giving an offering is a practical way to say,
Thank You to God for His goodness and blessings.

Cheerful giving part of what we have,
declares that God is first in our lives.

Practical Reasons for Giving
Giving help fund the daily work of the church.

Giving provides care for the poor, the sick, and
people in need.

Giving provides resources that help to allow messengers of faith to spread God’s word and love
in our communities and around the world.

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart,
not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you.
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together,
running over,will be put into your lap.

For with the measure you use
it will be measured back to you.”

Acts 20:35
In all things I have shown you
that by working hard in this way
we must help the weak and
remember the words of the Lord Jesus,

how he himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
