Thanksgiving Exhortation.

Don't be one of the nine… Be the ONE who gives thanks.

Luke 17:11-19 - Ten l***rs came to Jesus to be cleansed of their leprosy.

Jesus commanded them to go show themselves to the priest, which was the first step that a l***r had to take in order to return to society.

On their way to the priest, they suddenly realized that they had been cleansed, and one of ten returned to Jesus to give Him thanks.

Jesus asked him, "Were there not ten who were cleansed? Where are the other nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this one foreigner?”

I don't know about you, but when I read this in red letters, I can hear the disappointment in Jesus’s voice when He asks that question to the one who returned to give thanks.

We receive so many blessings from the Lord; don’t take those blessings for granted. Be the ONE who returns to Jesus and gives Him thanks and Glory to God.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving Day!

Have you been changed by the Holy Ghost? Then this is your anthem.

He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. - Titus 3:5-6

“The same Power that raised our Saviour is the same Power that lives in me.”

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. - Romans 8:11

“Just in case you forgot the truth, you're stuck under my blood bought boots.”

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. - Luke 10:19

"Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” - 1 Peter 1:18-19

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. - Romans 16:20

“I am who I am because the I AM tells me who I am”

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. - Galatians 2:20

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. - 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸
Today we Honor all the brave soldiers who lived out this truth and sacrificed everything for our freedom we have now.

Thanks be to them!

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” -Psalm 116:15

The voice and leading of God does not come as loud thunder, a show of pouring rain, and flashes of lightning. 1 Kings 19 gives us a glimpse of one way God communicates to those who seek Him. God was not in the wind or the quaking of the earth or fire. Yes, each of these things could signal God’s presence, but after all that earth-shattering noise, He was heard in a still small voice, a gentle whisper that brought encouragement to continue on the path God had planned out.

When we find ourselves in desperate situations, we often look for God to show Himself or speak to us in a big, flashy way. What we may need to do is to quiet ourselves from the noise that surrounds us and be open to hear His whispering voice of peace, spoken to our hearts that encourages us to keep following Him.

The Bible tells us that Satan and his demons (demonic hosts) will not look like snakes, dragons, or some ghoulish-looking being. No, quite the opposite, when encountering demonic powers there may be nothing horrifying or ugly about them, they will appear in a way that seems innocent, non-threatening, convincing, and even as light. Disguising themselves as ministers or servants of righteousness.

Christians are to be aware of this and pray for spiritual wisdom and discernment. Things are not always as they appear, especially things that seem good, innocent, pleasing, and beneficial, yet deny Biblical Truth.

Happy Resurrection Sunday! He is Risen!

He is Risen indeed... Now what? Click the link below to read the Apostle Peter's response to the resurrection of Jesus.

Peter’s Testimony to the Resurrection of Jesus, and what our response should be. Repent and be saved!

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” -Acts 2:22-24

“This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.” - Acts 2:32-33

“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” - Acts 2:36

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” - Acts 2:37

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” - Acts 2:38-39

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. - Acts 2:40-42

"A Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

The greatest event in all of history is the birth of the Savior–God in human flesh; Jesus, Emmanuel (God with us), Messiah, the Christ. At His birth, Jesus is called Savior. He was given to the World so that all who call upon His Name will be rescued, and saved from Sin and its curse. No longer perishing but having everlasting life. Jesus is also called Christ the Lord. The only one in our lives that is to be served. Followers of Jesus who are saved also come under and submit to His supreme authority and rule in their lives. He is both Savior and Lord!
