Mr. Jim Elstad, a great man of God and witness for Christ, suddenly and unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 20, 2026.
A Memorial will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday, May 16th at 11am.
310 NE 7th Street Prineville Oregon.
Jim and Heather have been members of Grace since September 2023.
In lieu of flowers, Heather has asked that donations be placed in care of Grace Baptist Church specifically to go to missions/missionaries that we support.
At our church, Jim was a mentor, teacher, friend, prayer warrior, father figure and so many other things.
Our hearts are broken to have to say goodbye for now. We miss him so much. Please keep Heather and all of his family in prayer in the upcoming days.

Dr. Al Reichman will be with our Church tomorrow, February 15th for all of our services. Sunday School at 10am, Morning worship at 11am and then evening service at 5pm
He will be with us again Monday evening at 6:30pm, Tuesday evening at 6:30pm and then Wednesday evening he will be up at Juniper Canyon Baptist Church at 6pm. Our church will join Juniper Canyon on Wednesday evening🙏
We are really looking forward to hearing from him about his ministry and his testimony and all that he can teach us while he is here!
"Dr Reichman comes from a long line of orthodox rabbis. His paternal grandfather, an orthodox rabbi, immigrated to the United States from Austria. His first exposure to the Gospel was at the age of 8, when a friend invited him to attend a Vacation Bible School. Despite his active attendance in church, it was not until he was a teenager that he finally came to accept Christ as his Savior.

In 1975 he enrolled in Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Upon graduating in 1979 with a BA in Theology, Al was ordained. He and his wife, Michele, embarked on a 17 year pastoral ministry and the continuation of his education. He earned his Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology degrees from Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama.

In 2013 the Lord led Al to launch Ahavath Messiah Ministries (Love of Messiah Ministries), where he continues to labor to bring the Gospel to Jewish people, as well as encouraging and teaching churches to do the same.

The kids have been working really hard on our yearly Christmas presentation for our Church. In the play "No time for Christmas," Rebecca (Libby) is trying to get an answer out of her brother PJ (Josiah) about why people celebrate Christmas when it seems so crazy and chaotic and everyone is missing what the focus should be... Jesus.
Please join us this Sunday, December 14th at 11am as we watch the kids lift up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
