Happy Easter weekend, Upward families!! 🤍

Just wanted you to know I’ve been thinking about you all and praying for your families. It’s been such a joy getting to know you, and we care about you not just during the season, but beyond it too.

If you don’t have a church to go to tomorrow, we’d love to have you—no pressure at all. Sunrise service with breakfast is at 6:45am, and regular worship is at 10:50am.

You matter to us, and we’re really grateful for your families!

❄️ Upward Update – 1st & 2nd Grade Banquet Tonight ❄️

We are still planning to move forward with our 1st & 2nd grade banquet this evening despite the snow!

That said, your safety is our top priority—please use caution and discretion when traveling. If roads in your area feel unsafe, we completely understand and want you to do what’s best for your family.

Hi everyone! Even though it’s snowing a bit today, the roads are warm and everything is still on schedule. We will continue with the banquet this evening as planned.

Hey Upward Families!

With nearly 200 amazing kiddos in our Upward program this season, it has truly been such a joy getting to watch them play, grow, and be part of this community.

Alongside my other responsibilities as Children’s & Youth Director, I’ve been working hard to continue editing all of the player photos. My hope is to have them finished and sent out before Friday.

I do want to apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. I’ve tried to get them out as quickly as possible. This season I decided to personally invest in a camera and learn photography so I could help capture the heart and spirit of your incredible kids. I had never done photography or photo editing before, so learning the editing software has definitely been a fun (and sometimes time-consuming!) challenge.

It has been worth it though to help capture these memories from such a special season. Your kids are truly amazing, and it’s been a joy getting to photograph them.

Thank you again for your patience and support—I promise they’re coming soon!

🏀 No Open Gym Today 🏀

Due to scheduling, there will be no Open Gym today (Friday the 13th).

We’re excited to see everyone tomorrow for our final Upward games of the season! It’s been an incredible season, and we can’t wait to celebrate one more great day of basketball together.

🏀 Upward Basketball Reminder – Final Game This Saturday! 🏀

This Saturday will be our final Upward game of the season, serving as a make-up game from earlier in the season.

To find your game time and opponent, please refer back to the original schedule and look at the games listed for January 31. Those matchups and times will apply for this Saturday. We understand spring sports have kicked off, if you have another obligaion it is completly fine to miss.

It has been such a joy watching our players grow, learn, and encourage one another throughout this season. We are so thankful for each family, coach, referee, and volunteer who helped make this year special.

We are looking forward to celebrating everyone next week at our team banquets, where each player will be recognized and receive their Upward awards. 🎉

Thank you for an incredible season—we can’t wait to finish strong together this Saturday!

As we head into the final week of our Upward season, we’ll be taking a couple days off from open gym. There will be no Open Gym today (3/9) or tomorrow (3/10).

Thank you all for helping make this season so much fun. It has been a joy seeing the players grow, learn, and enjoy the game each week.
A calendar update will go out next week with information about Open Gym opportunities once the season ends. Looking forward to seeing everyone at practice this week.

🏀 Upward Basketball & Cheer Banquet Week! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate a great season of Upward Basketball & Cheer!

Each division will have a special night to celebrate our players, coaches, and families.

All banquets will be from 5:30–7:00 PM.
Banquet Schedule:
⭐ Pre-K: Monday, March 16
⭐ 1st & 2nd Grade: Tuesday, March 17
⭐ 3rd & 4th Grade: Thursday, March 19
⭐ Middle School: Friday, March 20

Each banquet will include:🌭 Hot dog dinner🏆 Awards ceremony🎁 End-of-season player gifts🎈 Bounce house & games in the gym

Please let your coach know how many people from your household will be attending alongside your player so we can plan food accordingly.

We can’t wait to celebrate a great season together! 🏀🎉
