Christian Union

Christian Union Developing and connecting Christian leaders to transform culture The universities are: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton and Yale.

Christian Union was founded in 2002 to transform our nation and world by developing and connecting bold Christian leaders. Christian Union's vision for changing culture requires reaching an especially influential segment of the US population with the Gospel. The need is profound; the worldview of this unreached people group affects us personally, shaping our economy, government, media, and educati

on. Christian Union focuses energy toward developing Christian leaders at eight universities and select cities because of their extraordinary influence on our culture and society. Out of the 2,500 four-year colleges and universities in the country, these eight produce 50 percent of the most influential leaders in our nation. Graduates from these schools also have extraordinary influence on the international scene. Although most of these universities were founded on Christian conviction, they have become intensely secular. While students are academically bright, they know little about Jesus Christ. Fewer than 10 percent will experience any Christian ministry regularly during their student years. Even with the help of local churches and national campus ministries, the proportion of Christian involvement and impact on these campuses has not changed in 50 years. Christian Union takes a unique approach, employing highly qualified ministry faculty and producing exceptional curriculum geared toward developing Christian leaders. The ministry helps students and professionals discover the intellectual validity of Christian faith, the profound joy of seeking God wholeheartedly, and the practical skills to become significantly more impactful in their spheres of influence.

“I desire to see You, to see Your face…” 🙏✨

Before delivering his message on the nearness of God, Yale Divinity School Professor Kiyama Mugambi and his daughter led us in a beautiful worship song from their native Kenya. The Swahili lyrics expressed a simple and powerful longing:

“I desire to see You, to see Your face, to worship You, to worship You.”

Grateful for a glimpse of the global Church and for hearts united in seeking the presence of the Lord at CU Lux.

To God be all the glory.

CU Faculty gathered to pray for students—lifting names, needs, and futures before the Lord.

We’re grateful for men and women who labor in prayer, asking God to strengthen faith, grant wisdom, and draw students ever closer to Himself. May He receive all the glory for the work He is doing in their lives.
