Meet Matt!

This Good Shepherd Sunday, we join Diocese of Trenton in the “Called By Name” initiative—an invitation to prayerfully consider the young men in your life who may be called to the priesthood.

We’re especially grateful to share that three men from St. Paul Parish will enter seminary this summer. Matt is one of them.

Please keep him—and all those discerning—in your prayers.

Bishop O’Connell offers clarity, reassurance, and a call to deeper Christian witness in the midst of national headlines:

“The Church’s mission is not dependent on political approval. Her mission remains the same: to proclaim Jesus Christ, to defend the dignity of every human person, and to guide souls toward salvation.”

We’re almost ready! Which Mass will we see you at for Easter? Vigil: Sat. 8:00pm; Easter Sunday: 8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am, or 1:00pm (español)? Don’t forget: No 5:00pm Mass on Easter Sunday!

We hope you’ll join us for Holy Saturday: Morning Prayer followed by the Blessing of Easter Food at 9:00am, and the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night at 8:00pm.

At the Vigil, we will welcome 12 Elect through the Sacrament of Baptism, receive 7 candidates into full communion with the Church, and celebrate the Confirmation of 19 candidates, all of whom will receive the Eucharist for the first time.

The Sacred Triduum is now underway, and our parish family began this most holy time with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper this evening. At the beginning of Mass, we received the Oil of the Catechumens, the Oil of the Sick, and the Sacred Chrism—each blessed and consecrated by Bishop O’Connell at the Diocesan Chrism Mass earlier this week.

This beautiful liturgy commemorates the institution of the priesthood and the Eucharist. It concludes with the solemn transfer of the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar of Repose, inviting us into quiet adoration. The faithful kept watch with our Lord until midnight in the Mercy Chapel, entering more deeply into the mystery of His love.
