Many of us have heard Carl Jung's famous observation that until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our lives — and we'll call it fate. It's a powerful idea. But the Apostle Paul, writing two thousand years earlier, diagnosed the problem at an even deeper level.

This Sunday the sermon is titled "Coming Alive Spiritually", drawn from Ephesians 2:1-10.

Paul's diagnosis of the human condition here pulls no punches -- we're not just living unconsciously, we are spiritually dead. And his description of what God does in response is just as direct. There's also a section of this passage that has a lot to say to people who've spent their lives trying to earn their way into God's good graces. If you've ever felt like your relationship with God operates like a quarterly performance review, this text has something to say to you.

We'll also look at what this new life is actually for — and why people who feel spiritually alive tend to feel they're living for something, while people who feel spiritually dead tend to drift.

Come join us this Sunday. We'd love to explore this together.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the depth of true love and courage.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take time to reflect with gratitude and pray for the families of those who served.

Most of us know a lot about God. We've read the Bible, heard sermons, and absorbed the basics. But there's a difference between knowing about someone and actually knowing them. And that gap -- between accumulated knowledge and real, internalized, life-shaping knowledge -- is exactly what Paul is dealing with in the prayer that makes up our text this week.

This Sunday we're continuing our series in Ephesians with "The Prayer You Didn't Know You Needed" from Ephesians 1:15-23. Paul has just finished laying out everything believers already have in Christ -- and it's quite a list. Then he moves on and offers a prayer for them.

Paul prays four specific things, each one asking God to open people's eyes to what's already true. To really know it, not just know about it. Because you can actually possess something and still not live like you have it.

If you've ever felt like your faith should be doing more in your life than it seems to be -- this passage is worth reflecting on. Come join us this Sunday as we dig into it together.

Did you know there are billions of dollars sitting in unclaimed accounts across America right now? Inheritances nobody collected. Pension funds nobody drew from. The money is real, the offer is open — people just never show up to receive it.

That image is a pretty good picture of what the apostle Paul is getting at in the opening chapter of Ephesians.

This Sunday we're starting a new series through the book of Ephesians, and the first sermon is titled "What God Has Already Done for You", drawn from Ephesians 1:1–14. In it, we'll walk through one of the most densely packed passages in the entire New Testament — eleven verses that scholars have described as a summary of New Testament theology. Paul lays out four things God has already put in place for every person who is "in Christ."

We will talk about these four things that God makes available to us. The question Paul leaves us with — and the question we'll deal with together — is whether we're actually receiving what's been offered.

We'll also be celebrating communion in our service! Hope you can join us.

Most of us have a complicated relationship with our own minds. We spend our nights worrying about tomorrow and our days replaying what went wrong yesterday. We show up at the beach on vacation — finally, a few days of rest — and find ourselves miserable anyway, because our minds followed us there and brought all their usual baggage.

Sound familiar?

This Sunday we're digging into one of the most practical and challenging passages in all of Paul's letters. The sermon is titled "Making Your Mind a Friend, Not Your Enemy", drawn from Romans 12:2 — Paul's famous call to be "transformed by the renewing of your mind."

But here's what might surprise you: this isn't just a message about holiness. It's an invitation to a better life. We'll look at what's actually happening in our brains when we feel anxious and stuck, why so much of what we consume is quietly working against us, and what it looks like — practically and concretely — to cooperate with the Spirit's work of transformation. We'll even hear from neuroscience along the way, and I think you'll find it lines up well with what Paul said here and the church has been teaching for two thousand years.

If your mind has felt more like an enemy than a friend lately, this one's for you. Come join us.

Most of us have been there in some form — a season where life unraveled, where things went sideways, and where we knew, somewhere in our gut, that we played a part in how we got there. That particular combination of pain and regret is one of the hardest things a person can carry.

King David knew this very well. And in Psalm 25, he gave us something we desperately need -- a way to actually live when life gets hard.

This Sunday, the sermon is "How to Live When Life Gets Hard." It comes from one of the most honest prayers in all of Scripture — written by a man who was on the run, humiliated, partly to blame for his own mess, and still refusing to give up on God.

We're going to look at four things David teaches us in this psalm — things you can act on right now, no matter what you're dealing with, without waiting for your circumstances to change first.

If you're carrying something heavy these days — guilt, regret, hard questions, a season that's ground you down — this Sunday is for you.

If you’ve ever looked back on a time in your life and thought, “I wish I could do that over,” you’re not alone. Most of us carry a

few scenes we’d rather rewrite -- things we said, things we didn’t say, ways we showed up … or didn’t.

This Sunday, we’re looking again at one of the most honest and hopeful stories in the Gospels. The sermon is titled “The Gospel of Second Chances and $100 Questions”, from John 21:15–25.

We’re going to follow Peter’s story -- not just the highlight reel, but the full arc. The calling, the bold faith, the failure, and then something surprising on the other side of it. Because what Jesus does with Peter raises a deeper question for all of us: What does God actually do with people who mess up?

And then there’s that question we all tend to ask -- maybe not out loud, but it’s there: We're going to call this "The $100 Question" (as opposed to "The Million Dollar Question" that we looked at last week. You'll likely recognize the question, because it's something you sometimes ask too.

This is a message about grace, yes -- but also about focus, calling, and what it looks like to move forward when your story feels complicated.

I hope you'll join us as we learn together.

There are seasons in life when you find yourself circling back to what feels familiar—old rhythms, old routines, even old questions. You try to move forward, but something in you isn’t settled. Maybe you’ve felt that tension before. Maybe you’re there right now.

This Sunday, we step into a powerful and deeply personal conversation between Jesus and Peter on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The sermon is titled “The Million Dollar Question and the Uncomfortable Truth” and comes from John 21:1–19.

After failure, after confusion, after everything Peter thought he understood had unraveled, Jesus meets him with a question that cuts straight to the core: Do you love me more than these? It’s a question that reaches beyond Peter. It reaches into our lives -- into our priorities, our struggles, and the things that shape our direction.

We’ll explore how God works in the middle of struggle, and how those very experiences can form something deeper in us -- greater humility, clearer vision, and a more grounded faith. You may recognize parts of your own story here.

If you’ve ever wrestled with failure, direction, or what really matters most, this is a conversation worth looking into. Come and join us as we learn together.
