Alvin Miller, 85, of East Windsor died Friday, January 18, 2019 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided most of his life in Brooklyn before moving to East Windsor in 1994. Alvin was a United States Army Korean War Veteran. He Retired in 1993 with over 35 years of service as a Distribution Clerk with the United States Postal Service, Queens, NY. He was a member of the Beth Chaim Synagogue, longtime member of the East Windsor Senior Center, the Jewish War Veterans, the VFW, Folk Music Society and the East Windsor Democratic Club. Son of the late Jacob “Jack” and Ceil Schacter Miller, husband of the late Judith Adele Miller, father of the late Seth Miller, he is survived by a daughter and son in law Carole and Paul Braun, a brother Martin Miller, 3 grandchildren Amanda Braun and her wife Elizabeth Shirey, Steven Braun, Lilly Miller and several Nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from the Star of David Memorial Chapel of Princeton, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Committal Service only with be held in the chapel at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
