A Friendly Reminder:
Roman’s 8:32 says, “Since He did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” What is it that you’re asking and/or believing God for? If you feel yourself getting discouraged, don’t… for God is faithful!
Still waiting for a prayer to be answered? …well, keep waiting! Keep bringing your request before the Lord! Keep believing, keep trusting, keep expecting! Keep it moving because one of these days…! …at the appointed time! In His timing, He WILL answer! In the book of Luke, Jesus shares a parable of how we should be persistent in our requests.
The scripture says, “There was a judge in a certain city,”who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!”—
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭2‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Then verse 7 says, “Even he (the judge) rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?” (The answer is NO!) The problem, however, is that we throw in the towel too easily! No one wants to wait for anything anymore because we’ve become spoiled by this society that has given us access to instant messaging, same-day delivery, quick grits, quick fix, quick this and quick that. We even figured out how to wear braids without having to sit in a chair for hours and hours (wigs, crochet, etc.) Sorry to break it to you, but despite all of that, God does NOT operate like that! He’s the God of perfection, excellence and high quality, so there will be a process most of the time, and it takes time. We have to train ourselves to be patient! Don’t think the blessing is not coming just because you don’t see it yet! It’s coming, just praise God for it while you’re waiting! Keep the faith! Keep knocking, keep seeking, and keep pushing. You got this, and God’s got you! 🙌🏽 Don’t talk yourself out of your blessings with negative and defeated speech, but speak life over your situations and watch the Lord show up on your behalf! 🙌🏽✝️💃🏽

A Friendly Reminder:
A simple one today… PRAY for, with, and over your children; no matter how old they are… and teach them how to reverence God and read His Word. One of the biggest tragedies is that we stopped praying for our kids, we stopped teaching them the Word of God, we stopped taking them to church and we stopped sharing our testimonies with our kids. The Bible says in Judges 2:10 that after the last generation died, the next generation that came after them didn’t know God; they didn’t acknowledge God and certainly didn’t fear God. (sounds familiar) What a tragedy…and scary!! 🫣 🙏🏽🙏🏽 God is going to hold us parents accountable for failing our children. We can see what it looks like when children don’t know the Lord. The evening news is constantly reporting on the the consequences of that along with entire networks FULL of reality crime stories! …having multiple networks dedicated to reporting only crime stories is diabolical, but we have become desensitized to it! It’s become the new normal. We don’t understand the laws of cause and effect… I’m so godly sorry that some of you have lost your faith in God because of life’s circumstances and difficult times, but I pray that you don’t give up on God because He hasn’t given up on you! He’s a good Father, an excellent Protector, a faithful Provider, the Sovereign God of all! I admonish you to talk to Him today for tomorrow is not promised. If you’re angry, tell Him that! If you have questions, ask Him! You CAN question God, it’s erroneous teaching that you can’t! In Psalms 22:1, David asked the Lord, “why have you left me? …why won’t You help me?” Sounds like he was questioning God to me. Anyway, let’s get back to praying to the true and living God, the Creator and Ancient of Days! Wouldn’t it be the ultimate tragedy to die, face the Maker/God, and see that oh my, He is the Great I Am! He is alive! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! …but it will be too late then. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2 that TODAY is the day of salvation. 🙌🏽✝️

A Friendly Reminder:
Peace is not the absence of problems but it is the presence of the Lord Jesus! The Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” —
Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Then it says:
”Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.“
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We like to say, “this joy I have, the world didn’t give it to me and the world can’t take it away,” however, many times we give it away. We give our joy (and peace) to toxic relationships, one-sided friendships, to depression, to circumstances and difficult situations, and so on…. I heard someone say, I “choose” to be happy and that statement is no different than what Paul is saying in the scripture above…he said whatever situation I find myself in, whatever I have or don’t have, I’m content! (it’s good over here!) 😌
I’m not saying it’s always going to be easy to get to this point, but it CAN be done! 🙌🏽 Sometimes you have to fight for your peace; fight for your life!
If your peace has already left you, it may cost you something to get it back… it might cost you a friendship(s), a job opportunity, things and people that are familiar or comfortable, etc. but we have to get to the place where we say, “I’d rather have peace, than toxic friends that encourage me to live outside of the will of God, I rather have peace than a large paycheck, I rather have peace than a relationship that’s obviously not good for my mental, spiritual, or emotional wellbeing,” and so on! Peace is so underrated; It can literally RESTORE your health!Choose Peace!
Live in it; walk in it; bask in it! ✝️🙌🏽

A Friendly Reminder:
“You can’t control what comes into your mind, but you do have the power to control how long it stays in your mind!” The Bible says in Philippians 4:8 (paraphrasing) think on the good things, not the bad things; the positive not the negative, the truth not the lies, things that are praise worthy! 🙌🏽 Stop letting bad thoughts live and rule in your mind; change the narrative! Change your mindset! Change what you’re thinking about! If you find yourself getting mad, jealous, depressed, or frustrated over something you were thinking about, just change what you’re thinking about! It sounds simple because it is “if” you want it to be. You will see how liberating, peaceful and how much lighter you will feel! It must be heavy and exhausting to walk around carrying a mind full of negativity, lies and delusion! Free yourself! If you’re feeling too weak and don’t think you can, hit your knees and just PRAY until you get your breakthrough! 🙌🏽 There comes a time when we must go into prayer for ourselves so we can be honest with God. There’s some prayers no one else can pray for me/you but ME/YOU!
If you don’t know where to start or how to pray, the Bible gives us a model prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. Don’t have a Bible? …download the Bible app to your phone. 🙌🏽

A Friendly Reminder:
It’s no secret we’re living in the last days! Now more than ever we need to pray without ceasing. —1 Thessalonians 5:17
The Bible also instructs us in Proverbs 3:6 to acknowledge God or check in with Him “before” we make important decisions and then He will direct us on how to move forward. Just like we check in with our spouse regarding certain decisions, we should check in with God. The days are evil, so it would be wise to ask God if it’s ok to relocate, is it ok to marry this person, is it ok to become a member or even visit this church, is it ok to travel to certain destinations, is it ok to take this promotion at work, and so on! (I’ve seen people take promotions at work, then the entire department was laid off; sometimes it good to stay put!)
So remember to pray about big and small decisions because the Bible says in Proverbs 14:12 and again in Proverbs 16:25 that there is a way that seems ok, it seems like it’s harmless, it’s seems like a good idea, BUT the end result will be destruction or your demise. It’s just not worth it right along here to do things and go places just because we can. Consult with God first! This includes speaking engagements!! It’s ok to say, “no!”

A Friendly Reminder:
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 that we should give thanks to God in EVERY situation, (no matter if it’s good or bad, happy or sad) …for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus!
Therefore, although life sometimes can feel like it’s trying to kill you, remember to give thanks to God any how! Yes, there are times we have to be very intentional about it, meaning we need to determine in our mind, heart and spirit that NOTHING or NO ONE is going to keep me from robbing God of His praise and thanksgiving so even in this, I’m going to lift my hands and tell Him thank you! Usually the worst warfare comes before our biggest breakthrough, so if you’re living a lifestyle that honors God and trouble seems to be coming from every side, just smile and give God thanks because it’s the labor pains before the baby (metaphorically speaking). Train yourself to get excited when trouble comes… it confuses the enemy and shortens the storm! 🙌🏽💃🏽

A Friendly Reminder:
Many times we can’t see the obvious not because we’re not looking, but because we won’t go “up” to the next level in order to be able to see. I cannot see from a second floor window what I can see from a window on the 20th floor. God is petitioning us to COME UP HIGHER! We’re still too elementary in our speech, in our thinking, in our behavior, in the way we handle conflict, in our prayer life and in our walk with the Lord. If we spent 10 and 20 years in the second grade, everyone could agree that something is terribly wrong! Well, how long will we just stay on the same level with the spiritual things? It’s time that we not only “go through,” but “grow through!” The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:18 that we should “grow” in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible also says in 2Corinthians 5:13 to examine yourself to make sure your faith is solid! Could it be you’re not going higher because you allowed fear to replace your faith? Examine yourself… and move accordingly! God is waiting for you and me to come up a little higher! Eagles soar “high,” but buzzards (a type of bird) can’t go up as high and will not fly at all if the winds are too strong, unlike that eagle who knows how to soar above the storm. 🙌🏽💃🏽 Go higher!! You can do it; you’re built for it because you’re made in His image and His likeness according to Genesis 1:26. (talk about a flex! 💪🏽)

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord, be a wall of fire around us, protecting us from enemies, and be the glory in our midst as You were the pillar of fire used to protect Moses and the children of Israel as they left Egypt. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Happy Friday!! Don’t forget to give thanks and praise to the Almighty God for waking you up this morning, closed in your right mind, with the use and activity of your body parts and limbs! 🙌🏽 Praying for God’s protection over you; may He bless your going out and coming in…. in Jesus Name, Amen‼️✝️🙏🏽
