Camp Worship and Wonder

Camp takes place typically the second week of July. Open to children and youth who have completed 3rd through 11th grade.

Our mission is to help young people grow in faith through a fun packed week of fellowship, worship and the great outdoors. Camp Worship and Wonder is a week long summer camp in the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ for youth and children completing grades 3 through 10. There is also a 3 day/2 night Tenderfoot camp for children completing grades K through 2. Children completing gra

de 3 who are not ready for a full week camp are welcome to come to Tenderfoot as well. Here is what some of our campers say about camp:

Worship and Wonder Family--It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter informing you that Camp Worship and Wonder for this summer is cancelled. We were very much looking forward to being together again, but unfortunately our registration numbers were too low to be able to make camp happen. It's been a hard two years, but we look forward to being together again next year! Read the full letter below.

Season after season our UCC camps have provided an extraordinary place to unwind and recharge in a natural setting for spiritual sustenance. Today our dedicated staff and numerous array of volunteers are working to ensure children will have a camp experience “out of the ordinary and into the sacred”. Camp Worship and Wonder is home for so many campers. This year we had to cancel camp due to COVID-19. Many many campers are heartbroken that we will not be having a in person camp. We WILL be having a virtual camp with songs, challenges, blessings, zooms, and much more. (STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS) To bring a little piece of camp to you this year we have made a camp t-shirt for $15!
