Great way to keep plastics out of the landfill - bring these normally non-recyclable beauty products to your local Sephora: colored glass bottles and jars (perfume etc), pumps, eyeliners/lipliners, palettes and other makeup packaging, lipsticks, mascaras, wands, dental floss and toothpaste tubes!

We are creating green infrastructure on our campus! During our Earth Day celebration we laid out a Magen David pattern, removed the high maintenance grass, put down coir mat to retain the seeds we then scattered and we hope to see the begins of our wildflower meadow as the gentle spring rains and warming sun’s rays do their thing. Will post progress photos - stay tuned!

THIS SUNDAY! Come join the Earth Day fun as we naturalize our water basin area at The Jewish Center with the seeds of a meadow and rid our Hachutzah Exploratory Trail of invasive garlic mustard. Activities for all ages (including wearing crampers to aerate the soil pre seeding and painting wooden stakes). Message or comment with questions. Hope to see you there!
