The booth at Ivey United Methodist Church we had a chance to speak to several church members about our ministry and was treated very well there

For those who haven't heard Bob Gurnsey the father of paintball lost his battle with cancer yesterday . I would like to send my condolences to the family and request that we all pray for them in their time of mourning. Without him we would not be playing the sport we have all come to love.-The Green Hornet

I just want to say that it is an honor to be leading this chapter. I have some big shoes to fill following the Reverend's lead but I hope I can do half as well as he did. I look forward to moving this chapter ahead and hope I can do this chapter justice and bring glory to God. I am going to try and hit the ground running on this. There will be some slight changes as far as joining goes but nothing major.I look forward to working with everyone in the near future. Play hard Pray harder-the Green Hornet

In light of recent events here is a public notice:
The Christian Paintball players association is a Christian group dedicated to Playing paintball and sharing the message of love from Jesus Christ, We also strive to be a team that does not glorify Violence or Evil by using any equipment that glorifies Violence or evil in its name. Lastly we strive to Make Jesus famous every time we hit the field.
As far as Non-Christian membership goes , We do not discriminate on the basis of Race, Religion Or Sexual orientation. BUT-No matter who you are you will be held to the same standards of every person in CPPA. You will Wear the Jersey covered in Crosses, Conduct your self in a Christian manner while wearing the jersey and you have to follow the core values in the first paragraph.

February is shaping up to be a pretty busy month for the Christian paintball players association Virginia chapter, We will be at Splatbrothers on February 21st and the Swamp on February 21st and 22nd for the mag fed only game fighting on the Iraqi side. We are not generalling either game but we would love to have anybody that needs to shake off the winter doldrums come on out and fight with us
