Who We Are:
PRCC is a non-denominational evangelical community church in Priest River, ID. This church exists to celebrate God's presence in worship, communicate God's word through evangelism, incorporate God's family into our fellowship, educate God's people through discipleship, and demonstrate God's love through service. What We Believe
Biblical Grounding: Committed to staying grounded in God
’s Word for our faith and practice in all areas of ministry and life. 2 Tim. 3:16-17
Maturity: Accepting people as they are and encouraging them to become all God has called them to be. Col. 1:28-29
Growth: Our goal is to be effectively used of God in expanding His Kingdom and to be found doing so when He returns. We will pursue methods and policies that will facilitate numerical growth without compromising biblical integrity. Lk. 19:10; Acts 13:36; 20:24
Unity: Each ministry of this church should exist to fulfill the objectives of this church as found in Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:19-20. We should be on guard for things that would distract us from our calling. Heb. 12:1-2
Spirit-led: Prayer is first in all we do – in forming, planning and executing all of our ministries. We desire to lead lives surrendered to the authority of the Holy Spirit. Jn. 16:13; Gal. 5:25
Excellence: For the glory of God, excellence will be the goal in all we do and not for the recognition of others. 1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 3:23
Thankfulness: We often underestimate the value of what God is accomplishing to establish His church. Col. 1:18; Eph. 3:20-21, Matt. 16:18
Small Groups: Small Groups are one of the most effective means of building relationships, stimulating spiritual growth and developing leaders. Mk. 3:14
Authentic Relationship: We believe that loving God and encouraging people sums up the Christian life, so we are committed to being open, honest and real. To be a healthy functioning part of the body of Jesus Christ, we seek authentic relationships. Acts 2:42-47; Rom. 12:10; 13:8
Ministry Model: The Pastor and Elders are called to a ministry modeled after our Shepherd, Jesus. This is spiritual servant-leadership that sees as its central task prayer, modeling, discipling, preaching, teaching and equipping the saints for ministry. Ministry rests in the hands of believers as Christ’s ambassadors. 2 Cor. 5:19-20; 1 Pet. 5:1-3; 1 Tim. 3:1-7
