Zion Lutheran Church is a member of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). We are the sole Lutheran Church in the county and reach out to the surrounding counties of Hamilton, Comanche, and Brown. We serve primarily through a ministry of Word and Sacrament, b

ut also in our charitable benevolence to the community and beyond through and along side of other churches affiliated with LCMC and our non-Lutheran brothers and sisters in Christ through the county ministerial association.

GFFA finished out the year in the shop by building two church signs for Zion Lutheran Church - Priddy, TX. We are very proud of our students and their dedication to serving and supporting their community in so many ways. Their hard work, craftsmanship, and willingness to give back continue to make our county proud.

Congrats to the Priddy ISD graduating class of 2026. Just wrapped up the Baccalaureate service here at the church!

This article is about a kind of scam that people play on members of churches. The pastor in the article is a friend of mine in Iowa.

If you ever get a message anything like this from me please be aware that it's almost assuredly from a scammer!

We've been keeping a close eye on the weather for this coming weekend as we not only have our regular worship service, but our annual meeting and potluck lunch scheduled for this Sunday.

I didn't want to call it too soon as long range weather models are notorious for getting things wrong, but the predictions for this weekend now seem to be saying that by Sunday we WILL be in a freezing rain situation (maybe or maybe not Friday, but pretty certainly by sometime Saturday into Sunday). So I think it's prudent to cancel our service for this Sunday and postpone the meeting and potluck for two weeks ... so this announcement will serve as notice of that delay of the meeting and the rescheduling of it for February 8. Potluck to follow worship, and the meeting to follow at 12:30.
