Generally speaking, helping people might be one of the hardest things you will ever do. Many times, we use an ineffective method, we try to help them head on, but a more effective way is to LOVE them on their level, be an example and a model.
Let them see the Gospel transforming our life. Most people watch and learn from a distance and at the end of the day, it's their decision to change. We can't change ppl but we can love them and model life before them.
This does 2 things 1. it takes the pressure off, because it's not our choice anyway and 2. it helps us to focus on a couple things we do have a choice about, we can love and we ourselves can improve and maybe just maybe, they will be watching, and we INSPIRE them to be courageous enough to change for the better.

This is God's command for any and all occasions. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 CSB
For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality, 4 that each of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor, 5 not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God. 6 This means one must not transgress against and take advantage of a brother or sister in this manner, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you. 7 For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness. 8 Consequently, anyone who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

One + Two = SOULS
Christmas at the Dream Center will be a little different. We are partnering with two other ministries this year: Solid Rock Church (Pastor Glenn Barnhill) and Rural Revival America (Evangelist Daniel McGehee) for what we are calling 5 Nights of Christmas. After several meetings with these two men and hearing the vision for Christmas, we felt like we must be involved.

The church will be packed with people and for five nights straight, they will hear the Gospel preached and will be given an invitation to salvation and to be water baptized that many will respond to. And after these services we will follow-up on all those who attended.

Camp Dreams 2021

The Dream Center Mobile just celebrated 20 years of ministry in April! WOW!

With 20 years of ministry behind us, the old saying of nothing stays the same rings true for us this year. After careful consideration and assessing all the variables and facts, we have come to a decision that the Camp Dreams aspect of the Dream Center will not take place in 2021. This is such a hard decision to make because our heart is for the children during the summer.

Between some health issues, lack of trained help, the lingering effects of the protocols and guidelines of Covid-19 for summer camps, and other varying factors make it very tough for this kind of ministry. The Camp Dreams aspect cannot sustain the 2021 summer with these variables.

We ask you to join us in praying for the children and families of Eight Mile, Whistler, and Prichard for fun, safety, and security this summer.
