WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP

FALL RETREAT

This year’s Women's Fall Retreat at Camp Monadnock is Oct. 16-18th. Last year, three of us attended the retreat. It was the 1st time we had attended a Christian retreat. Each of us enjoyed it very much and will be returning this year. Register by Sept. 16 to secure the $265 rate. Beginning Sept. 17th, registration increases to $280. While it's certainly Summer outside, it's time to start thinking about Fall. The Scarecrow Festival will be held Saturday, Sept 26 and we need vendors and crafters. More information can be found on our website, linked below or by calling the church office.

TRUST AND BELIEVE

Whatever our problems, troubles, and sorrows,
If we trust in the Lord, there’ll be brighter tomorrows
For there’s nothing too much for the great God to do,
And all that He asks or expects from you
Is faith that’s unshaken by tribulations and tears
That keeps growing stronger along with the years,
Content in the knowledge that God knows best
And that trouble and sorrow are only a test
For without God’s testing of our soul
It never would reach its ultimate goal.
So keep on believing, whatever betide you,
Knowing that God will be with you to guide you,
And all that He promised will be yours to receive
If you trust Him completely and always believe.

The Perfect Church

I think that I shall never see
A Church that’s all it ought to be;
A Church whose members never stray
Beyond the straight and narrow way.
A Church that has no empty pews,
Whose Pastor never has the blues;
A Church whose deacons always speak
And none are proud and all are meek,
Where gossips never peddle lies,
