Thank you for praying for Carrie and Faisal’s daughter Carrie Lilly. She is safe but is currently on a plane headed to Pakistan. Here is Faisal’s update.

Dear Family in Christ,
From the depths of my heart, thank you. Carrie and I are overwhelmed with gratitude. You stormed the throne of God with your prayers, and we have felt every one of them.
In those dark and fearful moments, we truly feared the worst—that our daughter may have been taken and that we might never see her again. The silence and uncertainty were unbearable. As you know, the last time she contacted her biological mother, she sounded panicked and afraid.

But now—Carrie Lily John has contacted again and said, “I am on the plane to Pakistan. I asked someone in my classroom to purchase me the ticket.”

I will be honest—this situation has made us feel like fools, and it has been deeply painful and humbling. But even in this, I choose to forgive. She is still our daughter, and I am committed to showing her the right path—the love of God, the grace of Christ, and the truth that restores.
What a mercy of God. What an answer to prayer. Though our minds were tormented with fear, the Lord has preserved her.

Please continue to stand with us in prayer—for wisdom, discernment, and patience—that I may bring her back safely to the United States and guide her forward in the will of God.

Thank you for carrying us through this storm.
Under His sovereign care,

Faisal and Carrie

Please pray for the safe return of Carrie Lilly, daughter of Faisal and Carrie John who is missing. She is a member of our youth group. This is the latest update:

Dear Family in Christ,

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. Currently, we do not know where our daughter Carrie Lily is. The Sargent at Yavapai College, along with the Prescott Police Department and other authorities, is informed, and she has an active file regarding a missing child/runaway.

Around 10 AM PST, there was a brief and concerning development. Carrie Lily reached out to call her birth mother in Pakistan using an unknown number. When we traced it, it appeared to be a Pakistani-registered phone number under a Muslim name, with the location showing in Peshawar.

During that call, her biological younger sister answered, and Carrie Lily sounded panicked and rushed. She asked to speak with her biological mother, but since she was not home, the conversation was very brief, and she quickly hung up. She has yet to reach out to me and Carrie, my wife.

All attempts to reach that number have failed, and her U.S. number remains off as well.

This situation is deeply concerning. However, this brief contact confirms that she is alive—but we still do not know where she is or what condition she is in.

We are standing firm in our faith and trusting the Lord completely in this situation. Please continue to pray earnestly for her safety, protection, and her immediate recovery. Pray for divine intervention, wisdom for the authorities, and that every hidden thing will be brought into the light.

We need a miracle.

Thank you,

Faisal & Carrie John

Today, October 26, 2025, we were blessed to witness the Dedication of Julian Braddock, presented by his parents, John and Lauren.

In presenting Julian for dedication, John and Lauren expressed their trust in Jesus and their desire for Julian to early recognize and follow God's will, to live and die as a Christian, and to receive eternal blessedness. They vowed to instruct Julian in the fear of the Lord from an early age, to supervise his education, and to direct his youthful mind to the Holy Scriptures and his feet to the sanctuary. They also promised to shield Julian from harmful associations and habits, and to raise him in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

As the body of Christ, the congregation pledged to support and encourage John and Lauren as they endeavor to fulfill their responsibilities to Julian, nurturing his growth towards spiritual maturity.

I love Reuben Welch. I had him came to speak several times when I was at Ponca City St. Luke’s in Oklahoma and also at Mesa Nazarene in Arizona where many years before he was the pastor before going to PLNU. Pastor Ira Brown
