The purpose of Yellowstone Bible Camp is to provide a place for the enhancement, development and strengthening of faith in our Lord. The environment of the board-sanctioned camps is designed to provide both physical and spiritual safety.

Because of that responsibility, we do not wish to support or provide a platform for innovation that is not in keeping with the practices and teachings that are found in our fellowship as supported in scripture. This includes teachings that err into rigid legalism on the right or formless liberalism on the left (Deut. 5:32-33). Instead, we as trustees will do our best to encourage the camp to be used for strengthening of unity, growth in the Lord, and preparing His people for service.

Through all of your efforts, prayers and support we have faith that God will use YBC to train people to be His light for many generations to come in a world that so desperately needs it.

YBC Teen camp is about a month away. We’re looking forward to a time of spiritual growth & great community:)

YBC family,

We are blessed to have such a large and loving group of campers – but sometimes that presents growing pains. As you know too well, we had to halt registrations after the pressure took our server offline on January 2nd. To ensure that you have the opportunity to register, we have moved our website to a more powerful server and will stagger registration openings over the next week.

Some of the first registrations did go through on January 2nd – if you have received an email with your registration confirmation, then you are registered and don't need to do anything more. Check your spam box!

Registration Schedule
Registration opens for each camp online at the listed day and time, and remains open until all available spots are taken. All times are Mountain Time.

Saturday, Jan 6th
8am: SELFLESS and Work Camp
Noon: Youth Camps (Elementary, Junior High, and Teen Camp)

Monday, Jan 8th
8am: UNO and College Retreat
Noon: Golden Age, Labor Day, and Ladies Retreat

Tuesday, Jan 9
8am: Family Camp 2
Noon: Family Camp 1

Thursday, Jan 11
8am: Family Camp 3
Noon: Early Family Camp

We look forward to seeing you this summer!

We are working on and have already upgraded our behind the scenes tech on the website. Our plan is to open some registrations this weekend and likely stagger others afterwards. We will post on Friday morning on FB, the YBC website, and the registration newsletter signup that was published today with details. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these issues and hopefully create a long term solution to the wonderful problem of having a Bible camp that people flock to attend!

Hey Everyone, we're aware that our website is "down". We upgraded our server this year, but because many more families are trying to register than we anticipated (several hundred!), the system can't handle the volume. We're working on coming up with a solution. In the meantime, keep trying to register and be patient. Blessings!

Greetings YBC Friends. I hope you received the recent newsletter from YBC. If so, you are aware of our fundraising campaign to replace the failing bridge with a new structure. The current estimate is $470,000.00 !! It will have cement abutments with steel beams spanning Mill Cr. It will be dressed up with log to very closely resemble the bridge that we all know and love.

All of us can participate in this campaign. We have $250,000 coming from the Paden Family in honor of their parents, Walter and Dorthy Paden. The YBC Board has committed $100,000 from our reserve funds. The YBC Foundation is hoping to give $30,000. That leaves around $100,000.00 for us to raise.

We already have donations totaling over $34,000!! Please consider your donation to the bridge: You can go on our website and click on the DONATE button and use your credit card or mail your check to: YBC, PO Box 493, Livingston, MT 59047.
Thank you for your love that you've shown to YBC!

Hey YBC crew!

We wanted to remind everyone to get ready for the Labor Day weekend auction. This is one of our big fundraisers & it’s a great time every year!

It will be in the chapel at YBC on Saturday, September 3rd at 2pm. A generous donor has volunteered to match every dollar up to $10,000!

We still need more items for the auction, so if you have some artwork, crafts, portraits of Bill Goben, etc., that you would like to donate, please bring them to the camp before the auction. Thanks!

YBC update - 6/18/2022 - 8:45 am

I just talked to the ybc caretaker and here’s the latest report on the flooding:

The water has come down considerably from the peak flows earlier this week. They are experiencing some warm weather (that will melt the snowpack at higher elevations) and there is some rain predicted over the next days. It’s unlikely that the water will raise enough to cause any problems with the camp, but let’s continue to pray that there is no more flooding. Again, we are very blessed in that it doesn’t appear that there’s any damage to the cabins at all and we’re looking forward to a great camp season ahead :-)

FYI: There is a family reunion going on this week and everyone is having a blessed time inspite of the high waters. The water was never high enough for the camp to be evacuated 🙂

6/14/2022 - 6:15pm - YBC Flood Update

I just talked with our Manager (Bill Goben) up at the camp and he had some good news. The flood waters have started to receed! It doesn't appear that the water damaged any cabins at this point. The bridge is still intact, but the ground on both sides has taken a beating. After the flood season, we will make an assessment on whether the bridge will be usable or not.
This weekend, we are scheduled to get some warm weather which will likely cause the waters to rise again. We're not "out of the woods" yet! Keep up the prayers!
Thanks and Blessings,
Chris Crooks
