This past Sunday Brother Jeremy reminded us that the fear of man can have far more control over our lives than we may realize. When following Christ brings criticism, rejection, or even hostility, we are called to remember that the opinions and verdicts of man are never the final verdict. God’s Word tells us that what is hidden in darkness will ultimately be brought into the light, and that God alone has the authority to give the final verdict.
Jesus never promised us a friction-free life. As believers, we are called to shine the light boldly, even when the darkness pushes back. We can rest in knowing that the same God whom we are to fear is the same God who cares for us deeply. He numbers the very hairs on our heads and, through His great love, mercy, and grace, has provided a way of salvation through Christ.
We hope Brother Jeremy's sermon has been a great reminder to you throughout this week to fear God alone, trust in His care, and boldly shine the light of Christ wherever He has placed us! 🙌🏻
