Praise the Lord!! Just got word from Raymond Jr. and Nancy that the appointment this morning showed the cancer was “GONE”!
There are still some things to work through but the cancer is gone!! Amen!!

Please lift Tim Bokenkamp and his wife , Joann, up in your prayers! Joann had a fall while exercising and suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed! She is in the hospital in Montgomery! They are precious folks and need our prayers!!

So sad to report that Paul Farquhar passed away today in the Hospital after an extended sickness. Paul made his first trip with the Carpenters to Bennett’s Point when we stayed in the old store on Hwy 17!! He stayed in the office with Max and I when the rats attacked us! Paul always got a laugh out of that trip!! He went with us on a couple more trips!
Our prayers are with the family!!

Remember the Owens family! Your Carpenter brothers love you guys!!!

Words cannot express range of emotions that we are experiencing. But one thing I know for sure is that she is now at peace with Jesus. Please continue to bathe the Owens family in prayer, continue to visit and love on them during the weeks and months to come. I cannot begin to try and comprehend what they are going through. We love this family and will be beside them through this. They are our family.

Would like to ask all the Carpenters for Christ to lift Shawn Owens and his family in South Carolina up in prayer. Shawn and his wife lost their youngest daughter in a tragic situation yesterday! Shawn has been with us on a lot of trips and they are like family to all of us! Please pray for them as they deal with this loss!!

Most of you know “Uncle” Charlie Davenport and his bride Debra. Uncle Charlie went on the Carpenter trip two weeks after they got married! Well, today is Debra’s birthday and this past Sunday they got baptized together in the Alabama river. Their church is Autaugaville Baptist and had their baptism in the river!! Congratulations Uncle Charlie and Debra!! We love you two!!! ( Thanks to Bryan Blackmon for sending me the picture))

Did any one leave a nice looking Kobalt tool belt at the church on this trip? This is a nice belt!! Mr. Johnny thought it was Doug’s! Let me know and I can get it back up here!!!

Notice to all Carpenters!!!!
The Banquet will be July 18 at Prattmont Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM.
I will try and get invitations out this week!
You can let me know via text if you will be attending. You and your plus one are covered. If you are bringing more, let me know. There will be an additional charge for more than the plus one!
