Mark your calendars! The annual French & Indian War Encampment returns for the first time since 2019 and will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24. The admission fee for the event is $4/adult and $2/child both days. Saturday's activities take place from 9 am to 4 pm; Sunday's activities take place 9 am to 3 pm. BSA Troop 50 will sell refreshments on Saturday only.

NOTE: The campground will close to the public on Friday, April 22, at 12 pm and reopen on Sunday, 24 April, at 12 pm.

In 2019, Archie Cowart and I, Doug Darr, had really big hopes for outdoor events that would bring men together for personal growth, spiritual growth and teamwork. Then COVID hit in the spring of 2020. Now ailments have hit both Archie and I. Since we won't be the force we would like to be, we were hoping some other men would step up in leadership roles to plan events. I feel that other men will be excited to fill in with other leadership roles, such as handling food and cooking for events. If Archie and I can help, let us know.

Exciting news guys!! November 10th we will be starting a new outdoor men's Bible study group! We will be getting together on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 and dig into some pretty good stuff! Also we hope to have some sort of outdoor skill or craft or something along that line!!
What I need to know is how many of you guys are interested in coming on this journey! Need to know how much material to get!! Respond here or give me a shout, text, holler real loud or send up smoke signals!! Also looking to plan a hike that weekend!!
