Bible Truth: The sovereignty of God will bring peace and an end to painful problems, persistent evil, and other troubles.

Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson we will: DISTINGUISH: the key descriptors of God's peaceful Kingdom; ANTICIPATE: the day when Christian communities will be known for their godly life of peace; EVALUATE: an area of church or community life that does not meet God's intention for peace and develop a strategy to address it.

BIBLE TRUTH: Paul encourages believers to allow the love of Christ to transform their minds so that they can love others and themselves as Christ does.

MEMORY VERSE: “Owe no many anything, but to love one another: for he that liveth another hath fulfilled the law” (Romans 13:8)

LESSON AIM: By the end of the lesson, students will: RECALL Paul’s exhortation to be transformed in order to discern the will of God so we can love others effectively; ACCEPT God’s will to love one another unconditionally; and COMMIT to a new beginning in which we actively carry God’s love into the world.
