Yesterday, we had a great day at the Boo-B Bike Show. High Cotton Chapter Leather & Lace MC did a great event. We were out serving coffee, water, and sweet tea to those in attendance and we were able to bless 3 bikes.

Our Road Captain and his family are planning to head to Riding the Ridges Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center at noon tomorrow. Let him know if you would like to tag along.

State Rally at Shocco Spring, Talledega is coming up August 17-20th.
Events happening all 3 days.

Thursday evening- Talledega Chapter Bike Night at Pop A Top Soda Shop.

Friday Evening: Registration opens at 3. Evening service starts at 6pm and ice cream social/youth fundraiser after service

Saturday:
-9am bike games
-Lunch (on your own)
-1:30- Women’s conference
-In the afternoon- Rubber Duck Run around town
-Evening services

Sunday morning service

(There also may be fellowship rides happening throughout the weekend)

One of the outreach arms of CMA’s Run for the Son is providing transportation for pastors all around the world. Over its 34-year history, Run for the Son has invested in over 8,000 motorcycles which are being utilized in some of the most remote places on earth. Each motorcycle has a unique story and is a tool in the hands of Christ’s humble servants for advancing the Kingdom of God.

This Many Faces of CMA picture features this particular Run for the Son Motorcycle being delivered to a pastor in the jungle region of the Amazon basin in Peru. With no roads to access this pastor’s location, the motorcycle had to be transported by boat and then hand-carried up the muddy riverbank. Set up the ministry tent for "Show up and Show out for Autism" event at Montgomery HD this morning. Thank you goes out to Walt McNeely, Robert Bradley, Ken Betzhold, and Dana and David Morrison (April and Wiiliam) for helping set up and supporting our Chapter. Got to see old friends and meet new ones. Plan on joining us for our next event. We will be setting up the ministry tent at One More by the River on June 3 for Whispering Thunder.

As we are getting into our riding season and thinking about the safety of the rides. Let’s keep a sound mind to look out for the other riders out there. They could be going through a tough time and need someone to talk to even if just to make sure they are ok.
