Meet Juan Felipe and Juliana Aristizabal 👋

Relocating from South Texas and the Rio Grande Bible Institute, Juan Felipe and his family have answered the calling to plant Iglesia Westwood en Español in Alabaster. They are working in partnership with Westwood Baptist to reach their neighbors with the Gospel.

This is a powerful example of a sending church and a planter coming together for the sake of multiplication.

🇺🇸 Today, we honor those who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the profound weight of faithfulness and the legacy of those who go before us.

As we reflect on their courage, we are reminded of our own calling to live with mission and purpose in the communities they served to protect.

We are grateful for their service and the freedom we have to share the Gospel across Alabama. ♥️

Today, we pray specifically for "laborers." For men and women to hear the call to plant in the underserved areas of our state.

Celebration of Life Service for Leticia Navarro will be at FBC Oneonta, Saturday, the 23rd of May at 11:00am.

We have unfortunately lost a beloved member of our Plant Alabama family. Leticia Navarro passed away yesterday to be with the Lord.

Please join us in praying for her husband, Jesus; their 7 children, Jesse, Joe, David, Gisselle, Bryan, Brandon, and Laura; their family; Primera Iglesia Bautista Amistad; and the entire Hispanic church community as they grieve.

Meet Davey and Amber Lyon!

After serving as lay leaders, Davey and Amber sensed a clear calling to plant a new work in their own community of Lowndes County. They founded Imago Dei Church at the 45. This name reflects their vision for a body for all believers, rooted in the truth that every person is created in the image of God.

We are proud to partner with the Lyons as they expand Gospel presence in Alabama.
