Welcome to Prairie Grove First United Methodist Church, where we are connecting people to God and each other, equipping them for mission and ministry, and sending them out into our community and the world as dis

ciples of Jesus Christ. Our focus is to keep our ministries and mission as simple and straightforward as possible. All of our ministries are based on the understanding that changed lives will change the world. We follow a basic discipleship process of connecting, equipping, and sending to help people find their faith and then grow in that faith as believers. As United Methodist, we describe this journey of faith as the Way of Salvation where we experience God’s prevenient, justifying and sanctifying grace. We are active members of the Awesome Community of Prairie Grove. Our church members are in the PG Chamber of Commerce, run local businesses, work for major NWA business like Wal-Mart and Tyson Foods, and are active in local government. Together we support and volunteer at Life Ministries, Bright Futures Prairie Grove, and other local and seasonal ministries and charities. We feed people who are hungry, clothe people who are cold, and serve our community and the world with all the ways God has blessed us. How would you describe the hope that shapes your life?

📖 “Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you…” — 1 Peter 3:15

This verse is an invitation to live in such a way that others notice the hope within us. May they see a hope rooted in God’s love, shaped by grace, and expressed with gentleness and respect.

When we embody that kind of hope, our lives themselves become a witness—pointing beyond ourselves to God, who sustains us.
