Isaiah 43:18-19
“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert."

When a new season in life springs forth, there's always the old that must die. The Lord says don't look back! Instead perceive the new that He has for you. Don't be like Lots wife who was told not to look back but did and was turned into a pillar of salt forever looking back. If the Lord has removed something from your life, embrace the change and don't look back!
We are always growing in the Lord. He knows the path you need to take and what you need to stay in His perfect will and ways. Remain in the place of prayer and abiding with the Lord so you can stay in step with His divine instruction.
Don't get stuck in the old by looking back!

My spirit arose to open for more of his touch. As I surrendered to him, I began to sense his fragrance - the fragrance of his suffering love! It was the sense of myrrh flowing all through me!
Song of Songs 5:5

Let go. Release every care, every fear, every agreement you've made with doubt and unbelief, and lift your soul to Him. He is worthy of your total and complete trust. You weren't created for anxiety; you were created for peace. When your thoughts swirl like a hurricane and you feel as if you're barely holding on, it's a good indication that you need to run into His presence and surrender.

Invite Jesus into every aspect of your life. Hold nothing back. Total surrender means leaving behind every thought and belief system that dulls your spiritual senses and delays your destiny. It means giving the Lord total control, even if at first it leaves you feeling out of control. Cast aside the comfort of the known and predictable. Jump into a place of total abandon. Soon, you will sense His fragrance and know He's taking care of everything.

Jesus, revive me. I need your peace that passes understanding. Forgive me for trying to control the things I cannot understand, for not being patient and waiting for you to answer, and for doubting you. I surrender. Have your way. I lay my cares at your feet. Come with the soothing fragrance of your presence and lift me up. I trust you.

A season of waiting on the Lord can feel long and laborious. You feel like everything is being stripped away, can you stay faithful in the waiting? Can you remain strong when you feel weak?

When you look around and all you see is loss and lack, that's the time to praise God! It's the time to thank Him for the pruning that He's doing in your life. This is when He's preparing you for your new season of advancement. He must test you and remove anything old that will hinder you in the new.

John 15:1-2
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit."

As we walk with the Lord, we can do things in our own strength. That's a branch that needs pruned, it will not bear fruit of the Lord. We can also have branches in the Lord but they are now old and will not bear fruit anymore so they need pruned off. Each season has a new harvest. The new branches formed from the pruning of the last season will bear the fruit needed in the new season.

Embrace the pruning of the Lord. He's cleaning you out for the new level of harvest in your next season.

As you finish an old season you must finish well. Don't slow in because the end is in view. That's the time to press in and finish well. You must finish the old season before stepping into the new. You can't take the old with you. Leave the old mindsets, they won't work in the new season. Make room for the new way of thinking by the renewing of your mind. Strip off the old worn out garment to be clothed in a new mantle from the Lord. Just as you can't put new wine in an old wine skin, He can't cloth you in a new mantle over your old ways, leave them behind.
Lay it all down before the Lord, hold nothing back from Him. Then walk through the door with no burdens and no hindrance into the new season that the Lord has prepared for you in advance.

James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

There's power in prayer! We have been given power and authority to break the chains of bo***ge and set the captives free. We are told in scripture to heal the sick, cast out demons, bring sight to the blind and make the lame walk. Jesus wouldn't have given that instruction if we did not have the authority in Christ to do so. Don't stop praying and interceding on behalf of others until you see the chains break! Don't stop praying for a miracle until it manifests for all to see.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

You have cleansed my life and taken me so far. Isn't that enough?
Song of Songs 5:3

No one knows our hearts as Jesus does. He knows that sometimes we take too long to do what He asks. We stall because not only do we count the cost of following Him, but we create graphs and spreadsheets filled with what ifs. We focus so much on the price of love and obedience that we lose sight of Love Himself.

Our hearts and heads often battle the will of God. We reason away challenging impositions and try to grasp with our minds what can only be experienced through acts of faith. We won't always understand why He asks us to do things He does, but eventually the fruit of relentless pursuit will be evident.

Take a risk. Yes, sometimes we make mistakes in hearing God, but the more we purpose to follow Him, the clearer His voice becomes.

Lord, forgive me for reasoning away the things you've asked me to do that are difficult. I don't want thoughts that contradict your sovereignty. I yield myself to you and ask that zeal to follow you would consume my soul. I want to be so captivated by love that any price I pay doesn't feel like a price at all.

A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

For my heaviness and tears are more than I can bear. I have spent myself for you throughout the dark night.
Song of Songs 5:2

Our relationship with Jesus, the first love, always comes back to the cross. The mountain of myrrh that unfolds before every believer must be traveled with great confidence in His outrageous love. We must believe in the power of the cross. The commitment to follow Him anywhere and pay any price is not something that thoughtlessly falls from our lips. It will be tested.

Our Beloved, this righteous King, is also the Man of Sorrows who calls us alongside Him even in His suffering. He was shamed, rejected, and pained. To know Him and embrace His ways means becoming acquainted with both the blessings and burdens of His heart. Partner with Him and be a light in the darkness. Stand up for righteousness. Rise and join Him in intercession. Whatever our cross, we must embrace it just as He did, knowing it leads to victory.

Lord, you are love's perfect example. You bore the cross of sin and shame and suffering in my place. Though the path to resurrection life leads me through the way of sacrifice, I will not withhold my love from you. I've dedicated my life to following you. The beauty of your victory now flows through my veins.

2 Timothy 4:8
in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

The Lord is saying today "Remain steady, stay the course."
As we run the good race and stay the course we are in a spiritual fight for the very souls of the lost and wounded. We must see others as Christ sees them, in need of salvation. Reflect Christ in your words and actions. Show kindness, gentleness and love.
You are His hands and feet in this world, run the good race, stay the course!
You are an overcomer, you are victorious. You are fighting from a place of victory not defeat, stay the course!
You are a new creation, the old has passed away, the new has come, stay the course!
You are His workmanship, created in Christ for good works, stay the course!
Your life is hidden in Christ, you are a child of the most high God.
Fight the good fight!
Finish the course!
Stand strong in your faith!
The war has already been won, hallelujah!

Lamentations 3:22-26

The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I have hope in Him.”
The LORD is good to those who wait for Him,
To the person who seeks Him.
It is good that he waits silently
For the salvation of the LORD.

As you seek and follow the Lord, you know at times you will be led into the wilderness to be tested. In that place of pressing we must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. The enemy will be trying to distract & tempt you just as he did to the Lord in the wilderness. Eat of the Word everyday, get it into you, know it so in the wilderness you will have the weapons you need to endure. The Lord's mercies are new every morning. He's prepared a table for you in front of your enemy. The Lord never fails, never leaves you, never forsakes you. He is faithful and true, His love endures forever.
Great is His faithfulness🙏

Matthew 4:1-11

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.
And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’”
Then the devil *took Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple,
and *said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written,
‘HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU’;
and
‘ON their HANDS THEY WILL BEAR YOU UP,
SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.’”
Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written, ‘YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.’”
Again, the devil *took Him to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;
and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”
Then Jesus *said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”
Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.
