This Sunday was a beautiful time of celebration at PUMC as our congregation gathered to honor Pastor Allen Johnson and his retirement. We have been truly blessed by his leadership, compassion, and faithful service over the past 2½ years.

We thank Pastor Allen for the love he has poured into our church family and wish him God’s richest blessings in this next chapter of life. ❤️🙏🏻

A team from Old Powhatan Baptist Church left for a mission trip to Puerto Rico early this morning. Proud of these five youth and Ms Julie from Powhatan UMC for taking part in this opportunity! Pray for safe travels🙏🏻

What an exciting morning! We enjoyed a visit from our favorite absent-minded angel, Abigail, at the 10:30am service!! During the children’s time, she read a sweet, happy book called, “Where Did My Giggle Go?” Afterwards, each child received 2 book “worms”- one to keep and another to share with someone else❤️
