"Healing from Past Hurts"

“The pain of the past has a way of messing up your present.”

Sometimes the hardest part about moving forward isn’t knowing where you’re going. It’s letting go of what happened behind you.

Rejection can make us afraid to love again. Neglect can make us question whether we matter. Humiliation can leave us carrying shame that was never ours to keep. Betrayal can make it difficult to trust again.

But Psalm 147:3 reminds us:

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”

God doesn’t ask us to pretend the hurt never happened. He meets us in it. He sees the wounds we’ve carried, the ones we’ve talked about and the ones we’ve kept to ourselves.

Your past may have hurt you, but it doesn’t have to have the final say over your present.

There is healing available.
There is freedom ahead.
And God is still working in you.

Don’t let what happened then keep you from what God is doing now.
