Dear Parish Family,

Due to the extreme weather, 5:30 p.m. Mass and Confessions will be canceled at St. Peter today (Monday, January 26). Also, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be suspended at both campuses for the rest of this week (through Saturday, January 31). Please pray for our parish during these cold winter days!

WE CELEBRATE THE ELECTION OF OUR NEW POPE! 🤍

After the first voting session took place in Rome, the conclave has not yet elected a new Pope. This is indicated by black smoke coming from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, where the conclave will remain until they reach a 2/3 majority vote on who will be the 267th Successor of Peter.

The conclave will vote again tomorrow and will continue to vote until the 2/3 majority is reached, which will be indicated with white smoke. Please continue to join us in prayer for the cardinals as they vote on our next Pope.

Along with Bishop Earl K. Fernandes, we are deeply saddened at Pope Francis's passing. Pope Francis was a true example of Christ, and the faithful throughout the world benefitted from his example.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
