Summer doesn’t just shape schedules… it shapes families. ☀️

Long days, vacations, camps, sports, and busy calendars can fill our summer quickly—but what if we were just as intentional about creating rhythms that point our families toward Jesus?

This week Pastor Chip reminded us: the greater the revival, the greater the resistance. If revival is worth fighting for, then our homes are worth fighting for too.

This summer:

⚔️ Fight for your Savior, not yourself
🙏 Create rhythms of prayer
📖 Cling to God’s Word
💪 Depend on the Holy Spirit
🏠 Fight for what God has given you
🙌 Stand firm when culture pulls the other direction

You’re not fighting for victory. You’re fighting from victory. Jesus already won.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. We are deeply grateful for their sacrifice and the families who continue to carry that legacy. 🇺🇸

What a powerful Sunday we had together yesterday at First Baptist Powder Springs. From worship to community to Pastor Chip’s message, we were reminded once again of God’s faithfulness and His call for us to trust Him fully in every season.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend—we love seeing our church family worship together, grow together, and serve together. We’re praying this week that the truths from yesterday’s message continue to shape our hearts and draw us closer to Jesus.

Tonight is our LAST WEDNESDAY NIGHT of groups for the summer!!

So come prepared for some fun in the sun 🌞

KIDS: After the lesson for the night, preschoolers will be decorating bird houses, eating popsicles, and then heading outside for some outdoor games and fun!
Elementary kids will be playing mini golf outside with popsicles!

YOUTH: Youth will meet outdoors on the D Lot for "Youth on the Yard!!" Come ready for some games & snacks, followed by an outdoor service with acoustic worship & testimonies!

(One Youth will still meet throughout the summer. See .yth for details on summer dates you won't want to miss!)
