Last week we had an incredible night serving at the San Diego Rescue Mission! Our team headed out with a simple goal: to organize a fun night of games to connect and get to know the residents.
To break the ice, we organized a game of Friendship Bingo. It wasn’t just about marking off squares—it was a bridge to real conversation. The game gave us a fun way to approach people, ask intentional questions, and truly listen to the stories they had to tell. Beyond the game, we had numerous opportunities to engage in deep gospel conversations. We came desiring to encourage others in Christ, yet many of us left being encouraged by the faith of some who are in a very difficult place in life, yet still clinging to the hope Christ offers.
