All are invited to the “Hail and Farewell” for Fr. Brad and Fr. Chris. We will be saying goodbye to Fr. Brad as he prepares for active duty military service as a Navy Chaplain. We will be welcoming Fr. Chris as he becomes our new pastor. Please join us Wednesday, June 24. We join our Muslim friends and neighbors in solidarity after Monday’s horrific attack on the Islamic Center. In praying and working for peace, we advance God’s kingdom in our world.

As Interrelgious officer for our diocese, Fr. Brad joined the Islamic Center on Tuesday evening to show support for the community and to offer his prayers for healing.

Divine Mercy Sunday was a joyful celebration of the gift of God’s mercy showered upon us. Thank you to the Divine Mercy ministry, Matrimonios, the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Brad and Fr. Zachary (visiting from Milwaukee!) and our K-12 Faith Formation ministries for putting on this wonderful event!

This last week was filled with so many blessings, including the blessing of our new benches! Fr. Brad, accompanied by the Troy family, gathered to bless and dedicate one of these to the memory of Dcn. Bob Troy and all the ways he served our parish community.

We hope you take a moment to pause and enjoy the peace and community found in our courtyard!

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here. He has been raised up!” (Luke 24). The paschal candle demonstrates a truth about Christ’s light. Jesus enlightens us through self-gift. By giving himself to us, he sacrifices himself for us the way a candle burns itself up to give itself in light. Each year, Catholic parishes offer a new paschal candle as a sacrifice of praise to Christ, the divine light! Let us also burn brightly with him, guided by the wisdom of his radiance and light.
