Faith Apostolic Ministries We are a oneness Apostolic church with a mission to seek and save the lost. We are an alive and active ministry in the heart of Poughkeepsie.

Our members come from all walks of life and represent nations around the globe. We share one thing in common, though, we mean Jesus. On June 3rd, 2010 Pastor Wray and 7 believers meet in his living room to pray and seek the face of God. God started speaking to this ministry on that day. The first Sunday service was held on June 13th in this same living room. On the following day, we were blessed w

ith a place of worship free of cost. We were steadfast in prayer and continued to seek the Lord for His leading. We were officially incorporated on September 3, 2010. A time of great spiritual growth followed this. Our numbers grew as souls were baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost. As we were seeking a new place of worship to accommodate our growing numbers, we suddenly lost access to our meeting place. The Lord stepped in and we were blessed not only with our current house of worship, but also an interim space we could use while our church was being prepared. In our current space, as in that living room in 2010, we continue to pray and seek the face of God. We may not all have come from the same place, but we are happy to call this ministry home. We thank God for the ONE soul that was baptized in Jesus Name! Our dear Pastor preached under a powerful theme, “The Promise & Power of Persecution.”

we were reminded that even in the midst of persecution and adversity, God is still working to advance His purpose and spread the Gospel.

persecution is evidence that we are walking in the will of God. The Church was born in persecution, the apostles were matured through persecution, and the Gospel was spread and advanced through persecution.

WE MUST MAINTAIN GODLY CHARACTER UNDER PRESSURE!

We thank God for a wonderful service today.
Today, Bro. Tevan preached under the theme “The Bait.”

We were reminded that temptation often presents itself as something pleasing, disguising itself as something that won’t harm us.

The enemy has laid a bait for our souls, but deception can blind us into believing that we are okay when we are not.

We were also reminded that we shouldn’t have to feel something to give God praise, and to remain aware of the attacks of the enemy on our lives. Even when we feel surrounded, we should never stop giving God praise, because He is still worthy. Our desires need to be directed by God!

We thank God for the TWO souls that received the gift for the Holy Ghost.

Our dear Pastor ministered under the theme “The Promise Of The Spirit“. We were reminded of the promise of the Holy Spirit and the power of believing, having faith, and being baptized.

Through Joel and Acts, we learned that after His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus fulfilled the promise to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. When you receive the Holy Ghost, you become God’s property, set apart for His purpose and called to walk in His will.

God’s promises are like checks already in our hands, waiting to be cashed. The promise is already ours. We just have to believe, have faith, and trust God to receive it. Let us stand on His Word, walk in faith, and boldly receive the promise of His Spirit.
