Hello all Brand New Beginnings Supporters. I am posting an update on the status of the orphanage that we support in the Dominican Republic. It was a tough holiday season for them. They lost much needed financial funding, their rent was increased and their hearts were broken due to the death of one of the children. Sister Candida Mercedes was unable to provide them with any Christmas gifts this year so we are preparing to send a package out with toys for the children. We are seeking donations of small toys such as cars, dolls, toys with sounds & lights, tea sets, musical books, any toys that can be played with in a wheelchair, jigsaw puzzles. We are also seeking donations of items such as diapers in all sizes including adult size (with Velcro straps), toiletry items such as bar soaps, body lotion, shampoos, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and toilet tissue. We appreciate any help you can give. Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you

Hello Brand New Beginning Supporters. Its that time again - school supply sales. We are asking for a little help in providing supplies to the ladies that attend our Sunday Prayer/Bible Study program at the Dutchess County Jail. We are in need of two pocket folders (without prongs). They are usually pretty cheap this time of year so we are looking to get enough to hold us for the whole year. Our Chistmas appeal for DCJ is to sponsor and inmate at DCJ, for $7.00 which goes towards purchasing hygiene items, devotionals and other inspirational items to be given to the ladies on Christmas day at our DCJ program class. Please contact us to donate. Thank you and God bless you.

We are starting our Christmas appeal to all our ministries friends. We are asking for help with both areas of the ministry - the Dutchess County Jail and the orphanage of special needs children in Puerto Plata.

Please conisder donating to the children at Caza Nazaret for Christmas. You can send toy, clothes, toiletries or make a financial donation. All monetary donations are sent directly to Sister Candida towards the needs of these children.
