A Personal Message from Bishop Frances L. Bunn:

With a heavy heart, I share that our 2026 Holy Convocation, scheduled for September 18–20, 2026, has been canceled following the sudden passing of my beloved husband, Brother Thomas R. Bunn.

During this difficult season of grief and bereavement, I believe it is necessary for our family and church family to have time to mourn, heal, and seek God’s strength together.

I sincerely thank you for your prayers, love, understanding, and continued support during this very difficult time.

Please continue to keep my family and the Green Chapel Church family lifted in prayer.

YYA Sunday was unforgettable!

What an incredible time in the presence of the Lord as we celebrated our outstanding scholars and all that God is doing in the lives of our Youth & Young Adults!

We were also blessed by a powerful, timely word from Minister Maríon Greene entitled “My Next Chapter Is Loading” from Philippians 3:12–14. The message challenged us to leave the past behind, keep pressing toward God’s purpose, and trust that what He has next is greater than what we’ve left behind.

Congratulations to all of our scholars! Your hard work has not gone unnoticed, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for your next chapter.
