Do you love to eat? Cook? Host? Back by popular demand, we are scheduling a limited 2026 FLEXIBLE FEAST. Feasts are for any number of guests, from casual to formal, at a time/date of your choosing over the summer.

Breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner/dessert party - or anything in between. The only limitations are: not on Shabbat (Friday dinner through Saturday afternoon) or Tish’a B’Av (Wednesday 7/22 dinner through Thursday 7/23 afternoon).

You pick the menu and price point and provide the meal. We provide advertising and manage RSVPs. If you would like to host this summer, while helping to raise funds for temple operations, please contact [email protected]

The Civic Engagement Committee is looking for a few good mensch for tikkun olam. Volunteers needed for (no experience necessary):

-Welcome the Stranger
-Register Voters
-Fight voter suppression
-Engage with our political leaders
-Send postcards, make phone calls, talk to voters, help with local or national elections

We are non-partisan, and can take stands on issues, but we will help direct you
elsewhere if you want to support political candidates or parties.

Sunday, July 5th at 5:00 pm in Tillson
16 guests - $54 pp

Hot dogs (kosher), hamburgers, and enough sides for dodecahedron fans

Beer, wine, champagne; cocktails and mocktails; non-alcoholic drinks

Ice cream sandwiches from Boice's dairy for dessert
(worth the price of admission alone!)
Veggie/gluten-free options available – please specify in RSVP

Some games ~ Some prizes ~ Lots of talk (we're Jews)

Vassar Temple Sisterhood

You're invited to join us for Tikkun Leil Shavuot: Preparing Together for Shavuot on Thursday, May 21, 7pm at Temple Beth-El.

Rabbis from Vassar Temple, Congregation Shir Chadash, and Temple Beth-El will teach and lead the discussion. We will be exploring select Jewish teachings in preparation to receive the Torah.

There will be coffee & cheesecake, followed by study and concluding with Ma'ariv.
