🌟 What an incredible week at VBS 2026! 🌟

Our hearts are full as we look back on all God did through Illumination Station. One of the greatest joys of the week was seeing so many children hear the Gospel and make decisions to follow Jesus. There is no greater victory than that!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who gave their time, energy, and talents to make this week possible. From those on stage to those working behind the scenes, your faithful service made an eternal impact.

We're so grateful for every child and family who joined us this week, and we are already excited to see what God has in store for VBS next year!

Jerry Don Clair, age 86, of Pottsville, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Baptist Health in Conway. He was born June 20, 1939, in Paris, to Francis Otto and Alice Marie Goddard Clair.

He was a member of Pottsville First Baptist Church, a long-time member of the Pottsville School Board, and also a Mason at the Pottsville Masonic Lodge #333.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Clair; and two sisters, Rita Barber and Kathryn Dial.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Marie Clair; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Ramona Clair, and Steve and Alina Clair; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Marty Gregory, Sandy and Roy Hocker and Dawn and Doug Edgell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, near Atkins, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

🎉 TONIGHT IS THE FINAL NIGHT OF VBS! 🎉

What an incredible week it has been at Illumination Station! We have absolutely loved having all of these amazing kiddos with us this week. Watching them learn about Jesus, make new friends, sing, laugh, and have fun has been such a blessing!

Parents, grandparents, and family members, we want to invite you to join us tonight for our VBS Closing Program! The kids will have the opportunity to share some of what they've learned this week through songs, our theme Bible verse, and a few special moments from an unforgettable week.

And of course... if the boys officially lose the canned food drive competition, there is a very good chance that Mr. Travis will be getting pied in the face! 🥧😂
