It is our belief that the education of our children is the responsibility of the entire community, and TUITION IS FREE to our members for participation in our school programs. At Hesed Shel Emet we also believe that Jewish Education is a life-long endeavor, and a continuing program of Adult Studies is an integral part of Congregational life. We welcome all individuals and families who want to pray, study and socialize with each other. We support one another in life's happy and sad moments. Our Rabbi, Cynthia Kravitz, provides warm and dynamic leadership, and is involved in all aspects of our community. With him, we strengthen our commitment to Jewish life, prayer, study and action.

Mark your calendar for January 19, 2025 at 4:00 PM for the 18th Annual Pottstown Community Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration. The Hill School will host the Celebration in the Center for The Arts located 766 Beech Street, Pottstown. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Matthew Washington, Author - The Jim Crow North: The Struggle for Civil Rights in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Proceeds to benefit the Pottstown Cluster.

The Congregation Hesed Shel Emet is proud to support the Jewish Federation’s one-year commemoration event to remember those murdered, stolen and irrevocably changed on Oct. 7 in Israel. Our commemoration will be held on Oct. 27 at Har Zion Temple to remember this solemn day and the countless lives lost.

There are a number of ways you can pay your respects and remember this atrocity with your community.

🔥Commemoration Ceremony: Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Har Zion Temple

Congregation Hesed Shel Emet is located at 575 N. Keim Street, Pottstown, inside the Bethel Community Church of Pottstown Building. We have been serving Montgomery, Berks and Chester Counties since 1892.
