Hey Gtown Kids families and faithful volunteers! One of our beloved and most faithful teachers needs our help! Lisa Beckham has faithfully served in Georgetown’s children’s ministry for several years and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. If your child has been to Gtown Kids on a Sunday or Wednesday, they know Miss Lisa! She has fed your children physically during our wednesday night meals and she has fed your children spiritually, teaching them God’s Word. You can read more about her diagnosis in the link, but if you would be willing to sign up for a meal, we know her family would greatly appreciate it. If you are unable to sign up for a meal, PRAY! Below are some specific ways you can pray for Lisa.

-pray for her husband Bryan as he walks with Lisa down this road of appointments, treatments, sickness, and recovery

-pray for her kids and grandkids.

-pray for the doctors and medical staff that will be at each appointment and treatment

-pray for peace and comfort for Lisa- chemo isn’t a walk in the park

-pray for rest for Lisa in between treatments

VBS work days are here! Join us as we fellowship, craft together, and bring these bible truths to life. Lunch will be provided! If you are unable to stay and help, we do have take home projects for you. See you Saturday!

Alright church fam, we need you! VBS is just weeks away and we are so excited to share the gospel with our community!
There is still time to sign up as a volunteer, trust me you will have so much fun! Did I mention we will feed you every night?! OH, and Sugar & Spice will be here to fuel us up!

If you can’t volunteer but still want to help, we have bears in the lobby with the snack needs! Donations can be dropped in the lobby or church office.

Kids Camp 2025 was a BLAST! We had an AWESOME group of kids and AMAZING volunteers this year. We learned how to be DIFFERENT for Jesus and experienced so many fun and exciting things! Who is ready for next year?!

Enjoy breakfast tomorrow (6/8) at church!

Our kids are raising $ for camp and will be selling homemade breakfast burritos from 8:30 until the end of the morning. Feel free to come early and enjoy fellowship while supporting our kids before they go to Piney Woods camp!

Mandatory parent meeting for Kids Camp 2025!

If you have a child who wants to attend Pineywoods with us this summer, please be there on Sunday. The registration link and important parent information will be given at this meeting. Lunch will be provided! See you Sunday!

We need your help! Please consider helping our kids attend camp this year by having dinner at McAlister's on Monday, March 3rd. Our fundraising time slot is from 5pm to 9pm. All funds this event raises will go toward scholarships for our kids wanting to go to camp this summer. Thank you for your support!
