As I sit here and look out my window, I am reminded of the wonder of God’s glory. So often we take so many things for granted; family, friends, coworkers, and life itself. God has blessed us over and over again and we continue to forget to tell Him, thank you.
Today, as we wait for Christmas Day, let us take time out to think about what the day means. It means that God loved us so much that He sent His Son, born of a virgin, to us as the first Christmas gift. While you go through your traditional processes today and tomorrow morning, please remember what this day is all about. The birth of a Savior!
A Savior for our souls, a Savior for our lives, a Savior for all the problems we encounter! Christmas is more than a day to give and receive presents. It is more than a day to get together with family and friends. It is more than a day to feast on good food. Christmas is a day to receive a gift that was given to the world! A gift so perfect that no one will ever be the same!
On this Christmas Eve, I want to wish all of your reading a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year! Although we have gone through so much the last couple of years, remember that God is still in control, and nothing can happen that He does not allow to happen! Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Be blessed and continue to give God the Glory!!
