Sunday, September 19, 2021: 1 John 2:1-5

O my Gracious, Merciful, Almighty, Heavenly, and Holy Father! Hallowed be Your Blessed Name!

Thank You for uniting me with Your Begotten SON, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ by His substitutionary death on Calvary’s Cross in order to pay for my sins.

Heavenly Father, through Your Holy Spirit the beloved Apostle John reminded Christians that:

1 Beloved Saints, I write you these proclamations so that you may not continue to presumptuously sin against our Heavenly Father and expect that His Grace may abound. However, if you have sinned and confessed it to your fellow believer and our Almighty Father, we have a Faithful Advocate who intercedes for us with our Merciful Father, our LORD Jesus Christ the Righteous One. Our Blessed LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, who existed before the beginning of this world,

2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 Now by this testimony we know that we, who have been called, chosen, purchased, redeemed, predestined, justified, sanctified, and preserved by the atoning blood sacrifice of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ know Him, if we obey His commandments.

4 If we claim, “we know the LORD Jesus Christ,” but do not keep His commandments, we are liars, and the Gospel Truth is not in us.

5 But when we obey His Word, truly the Perfect Love that comes from our Heavenly Father is perfected in us. By this we know that we are in Christ.

Thank you, Holy Father, for revealing to me the relationship that you established with Your Saints, and for answering my prayers in the Blessed Name and Righteousness of my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!

"I SLEEP WHEN THE WIND BLOWS"

[SHARED BY THE HEAD PASTOR]

Years ago, a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast.

He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic. They dreaded the awful storms that raged across the Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.

As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received a steady stream of refusals

Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached the farmer. "Are you a good farm hand?" the farmer asked him. "Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the little man.

Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help, hired him. The little man worked well around the farm, busy from dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the man's work.

Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore.

Jumping out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed next door to the hired hand's sleeping quarters. He shook the little man and yelled, "Get up! A storm is coming!

Tie things down before they blow away!"

The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, "No
sir. I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows."

Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him on the spot. Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm.

To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had been covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, the chickens were in the coops, and the doors were barred..

The shutters were tightly secured. Everything was tied down.

Nothing could blow away. The farmer then understood what his hired hand meant, so he returned to his bed to also sleep while the wind blew.

When you're prepared, spiritually, mentally, and physically, you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the

wind blows through your life?

The hired hand in the story was able to sleep because he had secured the farm against the storm.

We secure ourselves against the storms of life by
grounding ourselves in the Word of God.

We don't need to understand, we just need to hold His hand to have peace in the middle of storms.

A friend of mine sent this to me today, and I enjoyed it so much, that I wanted to send it to you.

O my Gracious, Merciful, Almighty, Heavenly, and Holy Father, my EL-ELYON, the MOST HIGH GOD! Hallowed be Your Blessed Name!

Thank You for uniting me with Your Begotten SON, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ through His atoning blood sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross in order to pay for my sins.
Heavenly Father,
3 As Your beloved Saint, You were very diligent to write to me in Your Holy Scriptures concerning Your Salvation Plan. You found it necessary again to exhort me to contend earnestly for the Faith which was once for all delivered to Your Saints.
Therefore, 20 as Your beloved Saint, in reverence obedience, by Your Grace, I shall build myself up on Your most Holy Faith, praying in the power of Your Holy Spirit,
21 keeping myself in the love of my EL-SHADDAI, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and looking for the mercy of my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ unto Eternal Life.
22 And on some slumbering Saints I shall have compassion, making a distinction;
23 but on others who have forsaken or compromised the Faith and Truth, I shall prayerfully save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even to go near the houses defiled by their disobedience.
24 Now to Your Comforter Holy Spirit, who is able to keep me from stumbling, and to present me faultless before the presence of Your Glory with exceeding joy,
25 To my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forever. Amen!

Thank you, Holy Father, for exhorting me to contend for the Eternal Salvation Life in Your Holy Word, and for answering my prayers in the Blessed Name and Righteousness of my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!

O my Almighty, Heavenly, and Holy Father, my EL-SHADDAI, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! Hallowed be Your Blessed Name!

Thank You for uniting me with Your Begotten SON, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ through His atoning blood sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross in order to pay for my sins.

Heavenly Father, Your Holy Scriptures remind me that to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven. Therefore, I shall not fret myself because of evildoers, as Your Holy Spirit will direct me during:
5 A time to cast away stones to reveal Your path, and a time to gather stones to build the walls of Jerusalem and my spiritual life through daily meditation on Your Word;
a time to embrace a new soul and a prodigal, and a time to refrain from embracing a false brother or sister, a blasphemer, and one who departs from Faith in Christ;
6 A time to gain spiritual discernment, and a time to lose the burden and the sin which ensnares me so I can run with persistence endurance the spiritual race to Heaven;
a time to keep Your Gospel, and a time to throw away the works of the flesh;
7 A time to tear the idols of disobedience in my life, and a time to sew the fruit of Your Spirit with virtue, knowledge, godliness, and brotherly kindness;
a time to keep silence when falsely accused, and a time to speak the Truth of the Gospel of Grace;
8 A time to love my enemies, bless those who curse me, do good to those who hate me, and pray for those who spitefully use me and persecute me, and a time to hate sin;
a time of prayer, fasting, and putting on Your whole spiritual armor, and a time of enjoying Your divine Peace, which surpasses all understanding and guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Thank you, Holy Father, for revealing to me the hidden truth of Your Eternal Salvation, and for answering my prayers in the Blessed Name and Righteousness of my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!

O my Almighty, Heavenly, and Holy Father, my EL-ELYON, the Most HIGH GOD! Hallowed be Your Blessed Name!

Thank You for uniting me with Your Begotten SON, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ through His atoning blood sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross in order to pay for my sins.

Blessed EL-SHADDAI, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and Father of my LORD Jesus Christ, Your Holy Scriptures confirm that:
1 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven. There is:
2 A time to be born again of the Holy Spirit, and a time to die in the flesh; a time to be resurrected in my LORD Jesus Christ; the command to preach the Gospel through evangelism, and a time to reap the harvest;
3 A time to kill the evil works of my flesh, and a time for the Spirit to restore life and health to me; a time to break down the idols, sin, and compromise in my life, and the opportunity for the Spirit to replace them with His Spirit;
4 A time to weep as Prophet Jeremiah, for the sins of my family, my brothers, my sisters, my children, my parents, my pastors, my elders, and Your church, and a time to laugh with like-minded believers rejoicing in Your Divine promises and blessings; a time to mourn with others, and a time to shout hallelujahs and dance with other saints and those being saved by my LORD Jesus Christ;

Glorious Father, since these are perilous times in the last days, please help me to walk circumspectly; not as a fool, but wise, and redeem the time.

O my Almighty, Heavenly, and Holy Father, my EL-ELYON, the Most HIGH GOD! Hallowed be Your Blessed Name!

Thank You for uniting me with Your Begotten SON, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ through His atoning blood sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross in order to pay for my sins.

Merciful Father, my LORD Jesus Christ offered these supplications on behalf of His followers to You:
17 Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth.
18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the Truth.
20 I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the Glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Glorious Father, please allow Your Holy Spirit to remind me of the testimonies of the First Century believers and emulate them as in Acts 4:32:

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

Holy Father, please grant me Your discernment that answers to prayers, spiritual and physical success and victory in Your ministry require believers to unite in heart and soul as one in order to leverage Your Almighty Power.
