It is amazing the change that occurred in a week. The crew arrived this morning and added the striping to the parking lot. The lot should be open Sunday morning for the worship service.

The National Day of Prayer 2026 is an annual day of observance designated by the United States Congress and held on the first Thursday of May, when people are asked "to turn to God in prayer and meditation". The president is required by law to sign a proclamation each year, encouraging all Americans to pray on this day. Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026

The surface layer was put down today. The striping will be done in the next day or so. It is recommended that we keep vehicles off new asphalt for at least 3 days. We are hoping to have the parking lot open for our worship service Sunday Morning. Please check back for updates.

Today MCC put down the binder layer of asphalt in the parking lot. They will be back tomorrow to put the surface layer. I must admit I was grateful the wind was out of the SW today. The wind blew the odor away from the building.
